Better be strong person and willing to battle sections each use
Better than using an extension ladder but could easily be greatly improved by the manufacturer / if the manufacturer raised it's standards. The welds are dirty and a little scary for something that is holding your life; but it is welded in multiple spots, so that gives some relief.Very difficult to put the sections together...it's a battle really. The manufacturer has a video on YouTube showing removable clips/pins between the sections. Reality is that the product ships with nuts and bolts, which is absurd to think anyone is going to screw around with nuts and bolts each time you need to put it together or not.The holes for the sections are roughly drilled and don't make using it easy.Manufacturer should:1. Raise the standard on the welds/weld clean up. Splatter should be ground off/weld should look professional to inspire confidence.2. Raise standard on drilling and cleaning holes so they work well.3. Rise standard on manufacturer / tolerance for size/shape so sections fit together easily/without a battle each time.4. Have a solution / ship the product with removable safety pins between sections, instead of nuts and bolts.

Needs more improvements
The connections between ladders are not any good. I brought it to a welding shop to fix it. We made it male to female with a pin. It works much better now. I did this to all my ladder connections with my chicken ladder. Also I need to make a 2’ and a 4’ to make it better fit the roof lengths. I work often with gutters on, so I can’t have it over hang the roof edge. So a took a 6’ and cut it into a 4’ and a 2’. The company didn’t offer this. Also the steps between the ladder rungs could be a little farther apart. I am thinking 14” or so, to make longer steps.

Heavy duty steep roof ladder for a 300 lb guy
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Safety in steep places but the ladder is heavy. It's difficult to deploy it from a ladder, but you feel safe standing in the rungs. Very helpful when accessing anything over a 10/12 pitch.

Five Stars
A little heavy and difficult to move around but much safer than we had been doing.
