Maddie was just as wonderful, and how she handled Declan as well as her own emotions was masterful. And bonus points need to go to Piper - Maddie’s niece, who even gets her own chapters featuring her fan fiction as she documents the burgeoning relationship of ‘Maclan’.This book is a swoonworthy, laugh-out-loud delight. It was so addictive I didn’t want to do anything else except keep reading. It made me late for a meeting, and I accidentally dropped a packet of bacon behind a piping hot radiator because I was more concerned with finishing it than putting the shopping away properly. Oh, and I wept happy tears at the end...A Very Bossy Christmas has everything you could want from a romcom book. It’s hilariously hot, fantastically funny, and has side characters you love even more than your own family. Kayley Loring is an incredible author and I just adored every second of this book!

I don't think I can put into words how much I love Kayley Loring's books. They are simply lovely and make me feel as though I'm wrapped in a warm blanket. Her writing naturally flows, is sharp and witty and just makes me feel happy. Ms Loring also knows how to write a hero. Each one is just perfect without being perfect, if that makes sense. Declan is no exception and might actually be my favourite of all her leading men. His dirty mouth, dirty thoughts and big beautiful heart just filled me with joy with every word. Her leading ladies are brilliant too, complimenting the male character yet taking as much of the limelight themselves. Mel has become my girl crush - strong, feisty and not afraid to go for what she wants, with a little persuasion from the fabulous Piper. A Very Bossy Christmas is another to add to my 'oh this is my favourite Kayley Loring book' list because I don't think she's written anything I haven't loved that I've so far read. There's no major angst, no mind blowing cliff hangers or any gimmicks, Ms Loring just relies on her talent to drag you into her world and make you smile.

I absolutely enjoyed this book and finished it in a day! I just couldn't put it down! You fall in love with the characters and find yourself wanting to know more about them and what they do. Absolute must read. Have just found another fav author

I got this for something to read over Christmas, that didn't exactly work out, but I managed it in February. When two people are attracted to each other but circumstances prevent anything happening. But an out of town Christmas gathering results in a fake girlfriend contract, an Irish mum, an Italian nonna and lots of alcohol and you know it's gonna get messy. It's a funny sexy read, oh did I mention the gorgeous butts. Yum 😘

Loved every minute of this book had me smiling and chuckling all the way through. Great author who I'll continue to follow.

A good distracting read with fun characters and delightful enemies to lovers office romance. If you are looking for something to put you in the holiday mood (winky face) then look no further!

I fair enjoyed this and it's quite a quick read and very uplifting I enjoyed this journey especially the boat ride 😅😍🙄

Loved this book. Feisty Maddie and Sexy Declan, with a support cast of fun characters. Laugh out loud, swoon at the relationship between the two main characters and fan yourself after the hot, steamy passion. Highly recommended and will definitely read more of Kayley's books
