I went back to read the add for this to be sure I didn't miss something and I did not. There is a picture of the lamp with the caption "built in usb port for convenient device charging. Well it doesn't charge devices, you have to charge it. I wish that was more clear. It is battery powered but not anywhere does the add say it is battery powered. I hope they change the add so others will not be deceived into thinking they are getting a lamp you can plug in and a lamp that will charge your phone up. One star for poor product description.

The charge lasts much longer than I expected, I carry this light/speaker around with me when I'm doing projects in different areas of my home or yard. Music AND better visibility to do detailed tasks (I'm old and have prescription glasses to see up-close). Sound is good - as expected for a speaker like this.My only complaint is the on/off button. It is controlled by touch so I almost always turn the light off or on unintentionally since it is positioned near the base. I accidentally touch it when turning the speaker on or off - every single time LOL.

Loved the lamp! I really appreciated the initial setup was and how good the sound was coming from the speaker. Way to go with this awesome lamp!
