Takes watercolors beautifully!
This is the first time using Tomoe River paper and it takes watercolors beautifully! I love this paper. It's thicker than the regular 52 GSM paper, but I love the crinkle of the paper once it gets wet mediums on it.

I love this notebook, it is the perfect fit for my Midori leather passport cover, and is perfect to use with Emerald of Chivor from J. Herbin. Fountain pen aficionados MUST try Tomoe River.
