Works extremely well for plastic models

For the money, these blades are not bad for what you get and what you pay. They are adequately sharp, but not ultra sharp like regular name-brand blades. One complaint is the fitment. I put one in my X-Acto brand knife and the blade would not fit tight at all. The blade just fell right out. All of my other blades fit perfect, except this one. At first, I thought something was wrong with my knife, so I tried it in another X-Acto brand knife and it fit better. However, out of curiosity, I tired it in my Hobby Lobby brand knife that I have and it fit snug, but not tight, but it did work. I got out my digital caliper and found that all of my blades, regardless of the type, measure in at 0.57mm thickness, while these blade measure 0.41mm. Apparently, some hobby knives' jaws have a tighter tolerance and will accept them, but others won't. This is something to keep in mind when you buy because they may be unusable if you have only one knife.

I bought these because cheaper blades were not as sharp due to sloppy grinding and finishing of the blade edge. These are closer to the X-acto type of blade quality.

As far as the blades themselves are concerned they're great. The only problem is that the pack that the blades come in says 100 pcs, but what arrived was just 10 pcs.Unfortunately, I let them sit around for a month before needing to use one, and by the time I opened it it was too late to return them.Lesson learned: Examine things when they arrive.

Blade is too flimsy. Makes it much harder to cut stuff with.
