The media could not be loaded.  Bought this directly from Austria and testing in the summer in South of England the LED achieved a blue status for a few hours around lunchtime. Took it on the GR5 hiking through the Alps together with the Sunnybag 10k power bank. Attached to the backpack one cannot charge e.g. an Iphone directly as the exposure is constantly changing and the charging process starts and stops which is probably not great for the phone. With the powerbank in between it did seem to work. Charging a phone directly in the afternoon in fixed position worked, however, after a few days i noticed there was no charging taking place and the video illustrates that probably a loose connection had developed (no strain had ever be put on the connectors), possibly because of the high air temperature (35 degrees in the valleys) and the panel did get quite hot in the sunshine, because the indicator LED only showed red even at altitude in bright sunlight fully aligned to the sun. I could get it to show green if pressing the panel and connector between thumb and index finger, but this stopped after a few attempts and as the video shows, at that stage pressing only led to a red LED.Naively relying on the 'Made in Austria' spiel on the website I had planned to bivac on the hike but had to spend a lot more money on campsites and time sitting in restaurants and cafes to charge phone (which one does use as camera as well) from mains outlets. For this the powerbank was not well suited as it does not allow for quick charging.Overall very disappointing, irritating and costly. Have just sent it back (and it cost £9.55 to send it from the UK) anticipating a full refund :-)Together with other comments here, the build quality of the connection seems to be hit and miss and makes this a pretty unreliable piece of kit (other than what is suggested on their website).
