Sony PS3 Blu-ray DVD Disc Player With Full HD 1080p Upconversion & Built-in Wi-Fi , Plays Blu-ray Discs, DVDs & CDs, Plus CubeCable 6Ft High Speed HDMI Cable

I had to replace my old DVD player because Amazon stopped supporting the App on that model. This Blue-ray DVD player is half the size of my old one. It has apps for Amazon Prime Video, Netlicks, and Pandora, which I use a lot, and a lot of other apps. They were very easy to set up and the user interface is easy to use. Overall I like this DVD player a lot. The only drawback is that the remote is a little small, but I'm getting used to it.

Picture, sound, and ease of use are all great. Haven't tried the PS3 connection so can't comment on that. Overall nice home screen and easy to navigate.

I don't know who started it and or why but this Blu-ray player Sony DVD has nothing to do with the game console PS3. I'm very disappointed coming from Sony it doesn't even have Hulu on it. 05/19/21. Although it works just fine. Planning simple it's only a Blu-ray player.

I bought this for my parents who are in their 80's and are seriously tech challenged, who do not own a computer, smart phone or smart tv. They had NO PROBLEM using this Blu-ray player once we got it all set up for them. Best gift that we could of ever given to them.

I've had this less than 3 months. Worked great at first, but I can no longer get it to work. And due to the covid situation, Sony's usually excellent customer service is almost nonexistent. I sent them an email with the hope that someone will connect with me. I usually favor Sony products because of their quality and customer service. If Sony is changing, I'll have to change as well. This is very disappointing. I'll update this review if anything more happens. Took awhile, but I finally got to chat with an actual person. Sony agreed to send me a new comparable blue Ray player upon receipt of my well packaged defective one. Not only would I have to pay for the secure packaging, but Sony refused to agree to send me back my CD that was stuck inside. Sony informed me that if I try to force the tray open to retrieve my CD, I would void the warranty. They also refused to allow me to speak with a manager. The stuck CD is one of a 55 CD set of a dramatized bible, which I've had for years. Needless to say, my love affair with Sony is over. I spoke to an Amazon rep who promised me a refund. Amazon needs the defective unit back, but is instructing the pickup driver to get my CD out of the defective blue Ray player and give it to me. Perfect.

Good quality, well made, easy to connect, small not bulky, great picture.

Having a smart TV, whatever issues this unit might have in that area are irrelevant. Playing discs, either DVD or Blu Ray, is predictably easy with excellent picture quality. One problem, though, is that recently the player froze, and, in addition to being balky about turning on or off, when on. would refuse to eject. Online, Sony offered a rather arcane fix (unplug 30 seconds, then hold eject button while plugging power back in, then unplug and plug in to reset...hardly intuitive!) It worked, but is a little scary, because this is a replacement unit (the last one didn't respond to any fixes) I just hope that this problem doesn't become chronic, or, in light of what happened withvthe previous player, get worse...

We love this player! It’s small and works perfectly. The price was great. I’m very pleased.
