I struggled to get the old one off until I posted a request on Amazon, and I got 4 responses, one of which told me to remove the housing. I did so and the old one came off easily and I got the new one on there perfectly. Another Amazon customer saved me hours of time and strife.

My Kreepy Krauly Kruiser is bust most of the year. This OEM replacement part helps make it work like new. Install took just a couple minutes. Make sure you have the tab properly aligned and it's on.

I've had the Kreepy Krauly Kruiser for about 2 years. Over time, both the "vacuum seal" (the large flat round rubber thing at the bottom) as well as this connector ring became somewhat discolored and started flaking -- possibly because I have a salt pool. The vacuum too often got stuck over the bottom pool water return inlet.Replacing these two pieces with new ones did the trick, the vacuum works as good as new, for a fraction of the cost of the original whole assembly.

Ordered this to replace one that I had for several years after it finally fell apart. Product arrived on time and has been doing an excellent job of cleaning my pool.
