Don’t be fooled because I was. The pictures and the description do not show or say that the shoelaces are real tie-on shoelaces. I thought they were a design as is the fashion in many kids’ shoes. It turns out that you have to tie them the old fashioned way. I bought this for a three year old and I’m disappointed. The shoes do have a zipper on the side but why the complication of the tie-on shoelaces beats me.
