These cushions are exactly what I was looking for our patio furniture! They are firm yet bounce back rather than looking all flattened out over time.

I needed to replace the seat cushion on my leather recliner. The old cushion had springs inside it that had tangled and left large lumps to sit on. I cut the new foam to size using a straightedge and an old paring knife, used the old batting (I forgot to buy new batting) and put the seat cover back on. I was concerned that this polyurethane foam cushion would be too soft, but it turned out to be a little stiffer than the old one! I'm sure that it will 'break in', but in the meantime it's not uncomfortable, just different. As an ex-puppeteer, I've worked with poly foam in the past; this product has superior density and feels like it will last for many years.

The best purchases ever from Amazon was a couch cover set and foam squares to replace cushions. In 1991 I purchased a Flex Steel sectional and decided to replace it years later. In checking prices, cost had gone from $1500 to $6000 so decided at my age it was too much to spend. I purchased my 5 foam squares and furniture covers here. The only downside I had was no sectional covers fit so I bought a large sofa cover and a love seat cover. The sofa cover was not quite big enough so reordered extra large which is a tad too big but with tucking and folding, it works. I ordered five squares of foam and two came that weren’t squares but long lengths. It took three of us to get them folded and back in bags to send back. As I stated before, best purchase ever. The couch seat cushions I replaced were about 38 years old, they completely sank when you sat in them. It is an old Sears sofa sleeper that I keep in the basement. I measured the cover and purchased one cushion to make sure it would work then replaced the other 2. The cushion is not hard and not soft, somewhere in between. It doesn't seem very dense so I suspect it won't last very long, the couch isn't used a lot so for now the cushions will do the what I need. I am guessing you can purchase better quality from site that specializes in cushions. The cushion comes rolled in a box so open it a couple of days before you are installing.

I wasn’t sure if I was getting the right foam for my chair, so I used some freezer paper to make a template of the chair cushion cover, and measured using that. I cut the foam using an electric knife, and started a little larger than the template so I could slowly size it down, and not overdo it. Another reviewer suggested to cover the foam with cloth so it would slide in easier, and I was able to use the original covering that was on the cushion. Then someone suggested to gather up the cover like you were putting on a sock, and gently pull it up on both sides, and this worked great! I zipped it up, and voilà! It fit great, and the cushion is nice and supportive, yet comfortable. Looks like a new chair! Thanks to the reviewers who passed on their helpful hints!!

I wanted to change out my patio cushions this year so I purchased new ones. Turns out the “cushion” wasn’t foam it was layered batting. Ugh Off to find actual foam cushions that I could put inside the cushion covers. I went to a local sewing store and purchased foam but had to cut it to size. Turns out I didn’t purchase enough foam and I wasn’t able to get back to the store for quite some time. I wish I had searched Amazon before that purchase because these would have saved me time and money. These foam cushions are great! They are firm yet comfy. They fit perfectly inside the cushion covers. I will definitely buy these again when I need to replace the cushions again.

So, the foam itself is great but we received the wrong item completely. We ordered 2 cushion replacements (5”x24”x24”). However, we received one (2”x24”x72”) and one (3”x24”x72”). Instead of returning and waiting for another order we just cut them and stacked them to make 5” thick. It worked but took extra time than just sticking them in the cushion cover. Overall, the firmness is great but what a waste of the other 20ish inches because I have nothing that fits that size. Be aware you may receive the wrong item but cutting it to size does work.

I needed new foam in two chairs. They don't make my exact cushion size, so I bought two pads, 5" thick, 24" X 24 ", and an electric carving knife - what upholstery people said to use to cut it down Amazon got both of them to me overnight, that's impressive. I opened one and trimmed it with the knife and WOW, it really outperforms what I had. It didn't feel that much firmer than what I was replacing, but I tried it anyway, and it was PERFECT. Unfortunately, one cushions was the correct size, but the other was a different size. The problem is they come in identical boxes, with just a sticker to tell them apart. It's very easy for someone to put the wrong size in the slot, or grab from the wrong slot. Not a bid deal, I can wait. Amazon got both of them to me overnight, that's impressive. They also got the replacement to me in a couple of days. Great service.

These are comfortable and hold their shape, spring back after use. Much better than others I have purchased.

Comfortable replacement cushions. I bought these to redo the 2 cushions on an antique armchair hand made by my grand-father in the early 1900's. These cushions are good quality. Two negative comments: 1- comes in a really compress rolls. After a few day was still rounded. We needed to put a suitcase on it for a few days to made it flat as it was supposed to be. 2- the format is not straight i.e. not exactly 90 degrees in each corner; not a big difference, roughly 1/4" . I needed to cut a few inches on one side; it was very difficult to do it as straight as possible not to be noticed with the fabric on.

We had replaced the cushions on our patio set twice before and after a year of constant use the foam was always flat and felt like you were just sitting on the frame. This high density foam fit into each cushion perfect and feels quite comfortable. Although it’s not waterproof it’s great for those that remove their cushions each night or have a covered space. Even a large person sitting on them all day and they have held their shape. They are very firm so as long as you are not looking for something that you sink into these are the best I have found yet. They were also one of the best prices without having to cut the foam myself.
