Clear Dip Powder, 1 Oz No Lamp Needed Long Lasting Nail

I really like this dip powder! Just so others know, the dip itself is translucent/clear—it isn’t what gives my nails their color. The colors in my photo are gel polish that I applied over the dip. The dip creates a strong, smooth base that’s perfect for adding gel designs on top. It was easy to work with, filed nicely, and left my nails feeling durable without looking bulky. If you’re looking for a quality clear dip powder for overlays or nail art, I definitely recommend it!

Honestly, I've always wanted to do my nails at home simply because I wanted to experiment with colors and lengths without worrying about nail salon prices 😅 Sorry for the picture. This review is more of a follow-up than a first-time review. The nails are three weeks old, and they’re still strong! I wash dishes by hand every day, get really deep into my roots when I wash my hair, and I type aggressively on my keyboard, so I’m surprised at how well they’re holding up. I used to experiment with polygel because, honestly, it looked easier. I didn’t need to apply nail tips or all that, but those usually only last me two weeks max because I use my hands so often. They can be messy if you overhydrate the polygel with the liquid when shaping it. It can overflow onto your cuticles if you’re not careful, and after using dip powder, I realized that polygel was more time-consuming personally. The important tip I have for making sure anything sticks better is always to prep your nails properly. Here’s the order I used: clean cuticles, clean the entire nail bed with acetone, glue on nail tips (not full-cover ones), shape, lightly file the nail tip to remove shine or slipperiness, buff everything (including your nail bed), clean with acetone, then apply a base coat for dip powders. I applied only two layers to my fingers to avoid a bulky look from the side. I then put on the activator, followed by a top coat for dip powders. I bought a set called Azurebeauty Dip Powder Liquid Set, and I just followed the instructions. After that, I painted my nails. I regularly use gel, so I can’t speak for how well the color sticks for other types. For gel, I skipped the base coat—just buffed the top coat of the dip powder lightly, brushed off debris, applied color, cured, applied color again, cured, then added a shiny gel top coat and cured. I haven't tried it with matte, but I’m sure it’ll work great too. Overall, they turned out really nice for my first time using dip powder, and I love that it’s clear. You can see the color underneath, especially with a clear nail tip. It won’t look clear during the process, but once it’s activated and cured, it looks clear. I wish I'd taken a picture before I painted, but I was zoned out, so I just took a picture of how it looks underneath instead. Side note: don’t worry, the white part at the bottom is just my actual uneven nail length, not the product’s fault.

Loves, loves, LOVES :) my natural nails have really lost their strength and have been breaking/chipping easily. This dip is game changing for me. I do 2 dips and OMG my nails are solid. I’ll do a quick buff and shape and another dip with quick buff and my nails are straight for weeks. No chipping, no bending, no breaking. Goes on clear so I can leave natural or I paint with my gel polish. My gel polish goes on smooth and last. This dip gives my nails great protection. The whole process dip, file, shape, buff takes me about 15 mins. I’m no professional but not a beginner either. I’m someone that loves keeping my nails long and doing on my own. I like trying different mani’s out. So far this is my favorite dip I have worked with. However reading reviews I purchased a different activator and bond set, I went with Beetles and have had AMAZING results :)

Its easy to use and could pass for salon product. It is a little harder to soak off.

Strong lasts and I am happy with it. First time dipper took me a long time and shaping took forever too but I have OCD about what I like. I do recommend.

I use this every other week and completely remove it and paint over it with gel polish! It doesn’t crack or chip at all! And it’s not clunky. I like that it looks very natural and builds easily and doesn’t get chunky or deformed. I do 3 layers total in increments starting half way down the nail and build slowly. Works perfect with minimal filing!

As a mom, I don't have time to go to the salon, but I still want to feel feminine! So, I do my own gel nail polish. After time, as I'm trying to grow my nails longer, they just aren't strong enough and break. Adding this dip powder to the routine is allowing me to grow the length and shape that I want without breaking a nail for weeks! Love it :)

I appreciated getting a large canister for a good price. I also appreciate that it was truly sheer. However, After just a few days, the product began to chip.
