My 2015 R3 with 14k Miles was stuttering for a while and I always thought it was the spark plugs. After buying this air filter and installing it today (05-26-2019) after pulling out my filthy stock air filter that looked just as bad as the pictures other buyers have provided, my bike does not stutter anymore, in fact it sounds and feels like a brand new r3 straight out of the dealership. The sound of my bike also sounds slightly better with my Yoshimura R3 Slip on Exhaust. Doesn’t make it louder but sounds more healthier. Thank you K&N for making such a great product.

It fit perfectly into a 2023 MT-03. Feels and sounds like it breathes a lot better.

I cant comment on performance because I replace the air filter in the bike immediately when i purchased...so I don't have experience prior with the paper filter. However, I've had a K&N filter in my truck for several years now and it has held up very well. No signs of wearing. Keep it clean and oiled.

K&N makes amazing filters. Don't let the "high-flow air" fool you, this will stop almost every particle from passing through it. Cotton attracts, pulls and collects dust and debris from the air very well. When K&N was a new company and started using cotton, they knew it did a great job at filteration yet didn't understand why. It is just as good, if not better than the paper filters, but it allows more air to pass through freely with less restriction and without compromising on the filtration of contaminates. In turn, you get about 2.5% to 3.5% more power from your engine. These are actual stats from tests done (YouTube). Considering the cost of ownership for those that want to keep their machines running for a long time, this will pay for itself over the long haul. You will need to purchase a cleaning kit for it (e.g. K&N 99-5000 Aerosol Recharger Filter Care Service Kit), but considering you only have to clean it once every 50,000 miles or 80,000 KM, this is a low-cost investment that you don't have to do very often.
