My boyfriend and I love this lounge chair so so much! We bought the Merax in the selection "Navy 1." I recommend it to any young or old person who enjoys lounging in front of their TV! I'm not sure in what order my attached photos will upload onto the website, but I hope that they will be of some use to potential consumers! My boyfriend and I have a PC that rests on our desktop, but we also enjoy connecting our laptop and PS4 to the TV for various activities, such as watching anime/movies, playing Binding of Isaac together on Steam, or playing Warriors Orochi on the PS4. We usually just sit on the floor, but we would strain our necks and backs, so we looked on Amazon for a comfortable gaming lounge chair, and lo and behold!: we found the Merax Adjustable Fabric Folding Chaise Lounge Sofa Chair Floor Couch!As somebody mentioned previously, the Merax's backrest is highly adjustable! All you have to do is push the backrest forward and click it back to the desired position. As seen in my photos, there are two 'clicky' points where you may adjust the backrest. This clicky-hinge action allows for endless reclining angles and possibilities! Also seen in my photos is the pull-out cushion, so you may use the Merax as a seat, chaise, or futon. From super-erect posture for typing 3-hour long Amazon reviews to reclined positions for watching movies, the Merax has got you covered.I've had 10+ friends try out our Merax when they visit our room, and they all love it too. Two full sized adults can fit comfortably on the Merax's erect seating position and four to six adults can seat on the Merax when it's fully pulled out. My friends and I are all Asian, so results may vary, but I have included some photos for size reference as well! I'm 5'1", if that helps.As for the material, it is very comfy indeed! I'd say the cushion is 2.5"-3" thick while the backrest is 4"-4.5" thick. The material is polyester and nicely textured so that it doesn't feel cheap. I've had the Merax for 3 weeks and it hasn't broken down at all. For spills, I use a solution of OxyClean and hot water on a clean rag and dab the stain away.We have already recommended this product to college friends who are newly moving out, as this is a well-priced and multi-purpose futon. It's a great value for students who can't afford too many pieces of furniture at the moment. I honestly also recommend this product as an awesome gaming soda. It allows me to view my TV at face-level and I often end up falling asleep on the Merax with my boyfriend while we watch movies at night. This is definitely the best purchase I have made on Amazon!Customer Service: 5/5The reason why I have decided to write such an extensive review of this product is because of the exemplary customer service experience I shared with Merax. A previous reviewer noted that communicating with this company may be difficult, but the reason for that being is because this company is based in Japan. I believe this to be true because I had emailed them in regards to a question about shipping and these were my following observations: a) the customer service representative was extremely apologetic for something that was my own mistake; b) they informed me that they usually respond to emails after 6 PM; and finally c) the lady on my package label and the "DO NOT EAT" moisture packets were both Japanese! So although your email chains with this company may not be super speedy, they are a company that I can trust. As I type this, there are not that many reviews for this product, so I am writing to vouch for their authenticity. They are definitely NOT one of those shady Chinese sellers with stolen product photos and extensive shipping times. I actually received my product within 2 days of purchase, so the $20 shipping is completely legitimate. It comes in a big box, and you may wonder how they managed to fit the lounge chair inside, but it is actually a very compact product that is easy to fold up and store away.I hope this review and the attached photos have helped you out! I thought of giving 5 stars instead of 4 because this floor sofa is pretty much what we were looking for to make our living room more cozy. We had a nook we wanted to fill. The sofa is pretty much as advertised. My wife loves it as she is very petite and it is very comfortable and cozy for her. It also is an attractive looking item (really ties the room together). It is definitely adjustable and so far seems sturdy but only had it for a week. Adjusting it can be slightly tricky but nothing to fear once you get the hang of it. It can unfold completely flat to lie down. I would not use it as a permanent bed though find if someone needs to sleep over a night or two (as a one person bed). Two people can sit on it together if they are comfortable being very close together. It would make a great gaming chair and I think kids and small people will like it in general. It doesn't quite make it to 5 stars because it is not amazingly comfortable especially for taller or larger folk. It's definitely fine if you feel like being closer to the ground or for a young guest to sit on. Anyway a good product that really deserves a 4.5 but it's not quite perfect enough to get a 5. I hope Merax continues trying to optimize this type of product as it's multiple functionality can be really useful. If I run into durability issues I will update.

I love this. Now I have a place to throw all my extra blankets and pillows. It's also a nice place to sit and lay while watching TV or browsing the internet. And, the chair is the perfect height for a little table I have so I can eat or drink things comfortably while sitting on it. The couch/bed did turn out to be bigger and heavier than I thought it would be but it works for me. It's light enough that I can re-position it around the room wherever I want, yet heavy enough that it won't tip over or move when I sit on it. It can also fold down flat enough that I can store it under my bed and out of the way whenever I'm not using it or want to make more room for something else. I'm 5'2" and 105 lbs. I haven't had any problems with the support beams not supporting me and I can only feel the metal beams if I'm standing on top of them. The only negative things about the couch so far is that I wish it came in different fabric material options. Whatever cloth this couch is made of is sturdy but not super soft. Also, I wish it came with directions. I was going to go online to search through the reviews on how to adjust the back but I figured it out before my lap top finished turning on. You have to bend it all the way forward and then back to the level you want the back rest to be. I found it weird that the only directions it did come with was a little tag connected to the couch that tells you "CARELESSNESS CAUSES FIRE" and to "REFRAIN FROM SMOKING ON THE SOFA". It also mentions something about how the couch fabric meets cigarette resistance requirements. Maybe that's why it's made of the material that it is?
