what is the least amount of skeins needed to make a 60 X 80 throw with the most conservative stitch and pattern?

I used 8 skeins for a throw using dbl crochet, with a J hook.

I have arm knitted with it. This yarn gets heavy really fast. Its nice and soft but I didn't find it to be the easiest to hand or arm knit with.

I’m trying to make a 4 x 6-ish blanket. Just like a finger knit chunky knit one. How many rolls would I need?

HI SHAYLYN, i have made multiple blankets one was 37 wide and 65 long and it took 660 yards because I used the 10 oz balls. So my guess for your blanket of 48 wide and 72 wide you could select 770 yards or 7 skeins or maybe for real comfort 8 skeins move you from the 37 to the 48 and from the 65 to the 72.
