A perfect guidebook for the FRCS exit exams
I congratulate the authors for putting together a book that covers most of the ever widening exam topics that a candidate can be asked about in the exams. The pattern and the subject matter is excellent and to the point. For an overseas candidate, this book has helped me to pass the exam. It gave me the key points and phrases for me to build my answers. I would recommend this book to the exit exam part -2 candidates particularly the non-training candidates.

See my comment in below-- Sorry, NOT RECOMMENDED.
I do have a fellowship in surgery from the RCS of Edinburgh as well as from the American Board of Surgery (a full disclosure). In my humble opinion, in many areas the information in this book is incomplete and not very new. Anyone trained in a good surgical program in USA would not need this book to take & pass FRCS from any colleges in UK. Thanks.

Very good content. Helped me ace my ST3 interviews and get a number first time around.

Perfect FRCS companion
The newest edition of this book has everything you need for the FRCS exam. Being so recent it also has all the up to date evidence and covers a few topics that the old edition didn't. Highly recommended.

Counterfeit copy
I have found out from a colleague that my book is not a genuine version of the book because of the tiny photocopied print that doesn't use most of the page. He reported and returned his book, and subsequently received the genuine book with the proper print. Unfortunately, now I'm well past the return window.
