I am writing my review a couple years after the fact of buying it. I last used it yesterday. Really I see so many poor reviews, and I wonder if they just did not follow directions. ? Anyway, I had car troubles a couple of years ago and had to keep jump starting my van. I used it once, recharged it fully and waited for next use. ... now, nearly 2 years later, I have NOT recharged it at all ever. It is on 83% charge, and I have used it numerous times for jump starting my car (got rid of van)...and during hurricanes used it to charge phones and used the light for a brief time. ...I bought this 1 year 9 months ago and I last recharged it about 1-1/2 years ago. This is an amazing product. I searched my orders because I think I am going to buy everyone close to me one of these for Christmas. Everyone should have one, but especially if you are a single lady who MIGHT be stranded somewhere some time with car troubles--and that is every single lady, but no reason for a man to be stranded anywhere also! I bought this Gooloo jump starter back in 2017, and used it twice in the past year. Granted, I didn't leave it plugged in if not using it, but for the past two times I used it, I was able to use it after plugging in to the wall outlet to recharge. Yesterday, when I wanted to use it to jump my car, I discovered that the jump starter would not hold a charge. Every time I plugged it in the outlet, the charging light would only come on for a few seconds and disappeared. There's a permanent message on screen:BatteryLoBattery low rechargeI left it plugged in overnight, and this same message stay the same.This is a piece of junk for the $$$ I paid for it.

I bought this little jump starter power bank back in July of 2017 and I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am for making this purchase! It has never failed me in my time of need... EVER! The first time I used it was when my wife's car (Lexus) wouldn't start nor hold a charge. I thought the battery needed to be replaced. The GOOLOO charged without a problem and was so simple and easy to set up and use. I simply plugged the jumper cables into the unit, attached the cables to the car battery and it let me know on the screen that it was ready to jump start the car. I pushed the start button on her car and it started immediately.I started driving down to the store to get a new battery and I noticed that the car just kept dying. I later found out it was the alternator but every time I would attach the GOOLOO to the battery I was able to jump start it immediately. The best part was it would only use 3% of the battery with each jump start (after first jump start the battery life was still at 97%, after second jump battery life was 94%).It is super portable and can also be used to take out of town on a camping trip or a day at the beach where you can charge all of your electronics since it comes with two (2) USB outlets on top of the unit to plug the cables into so you don't ever have to worry about running out of juice on your electronics.Since purchasing the GOOLOO I bought a Jeep and after paying off my Jeep, it seems like everything wants to break down on it (but I still love it, even though every Jeep we had growing up had constant problems). Over a week ago I went out to find the battery and all lights inside of the Jeep were completely dead. I live in Vegas where it seems like car batteries only last about 3-4 years due to the intense heat. I pulled out my trusty GOOLOO, which to my surprise still had 94% battery life after being in storage for over a year. I decided to charge it up back to 100%, quickly set it up, attached the cables to the prongs under the hood (I learned the jeep battery is under the passenger seat) and the jeep started right up! I took it down to replace the battery and have them check the alternator.I was told the alternator is fine, and I was able to drive the Jeep around last week. However, on Saturday, I went out and the jeep was completely dead. I didn't have time to take the jeep anywhere over the weekend but I wasn't worried because I knew the GOOLOO would get it started and get me to work.This morning, I pulled out the GOOLOO, attached it, and the Jeep started right up. I was able to make it to work on time because it is so fast and easy to use. I will have to take the Jeep to the mechanic to find out if I have a short or corroded wire somewhere but I would not have been able to make it to work today without my GOOLOO!This is hands down probably the best purchase I have made on Amazon and I buy products almost every week it seems. This is truly a life saver, especially when its 110* outside and you don't have time to wait for someone who has jumper cables because you literally have that capability in the palm of your hand!

I bought this back in November of 2016, very light and portable. As soon as I got it, I charged it and just kept in my car, fast forward June of 2019, my car battery dies so I go to the trunk of my car and pull this gadget out. It has been few years and I was afraid the power would have been drained so I was crossing my fingers that I can get some juice out of it to jump start the car, to my surprise, this thing still had 100 percent juice. It took me literally 30 seconds to plug the cord and put the clamps on battery and just turn on engine, wham, back in business! If you called AAA, they will get to you but it may take time depending the time of day and location, with this, you don't have to worry and it was so easy to use. About a week later, my friend had his truck battery die out too and was asking me to help him jump start his truck the traditional way but I brought out this handy gadget and again, it still had 100 percent juice and it also took only few seconds to get his car going too and he was very impressed and was talking about getting several for his family. This product was well worth the purchase and I love how the battery did not drain even after few years!

This little thing is amazing! Been using it at least once a year. Love it! And do not need any jumper cables and moving two cars close together etc. It just sits in my car all year long and surprisingly it holds a charge at 100% so far, and it has been a few years since i got it; i do try to drain the battery slightly at least once or twice a year a little just so I can hopefully keep that battery last a little longer. Anyway, so far every jump start i have done drains the GOOLOO 1% maybe it will drain more as this gets lower and lower, but i never used it more than twice. This 800A peak is probably more than anyone would need, but looks like every year GOOLOO comes up with bigger peaks and greater capacity units, so more and more options to pick from ;-) This thing will not disappoint you, that is for sure.
