OXO Good Grips Quick Release Multi Cherry Pitter

I had 16 pounds of cherries to pit and get ready to freeze dry. This tool helped tremendously as it will pit 6 cherries at a time. I had a few pits that clung to the cherry after depressing the handle, but that was not a problem, maybe 1/4 of a pound out of 16 pounds total. I actually thought it would break pretty quickly with that many cherries, but it held up with no issues. The pit holder does need to be deeper to hold more as after about 4 cycles, it has to be emptied, or the handle will not depress properly. Overall, I would purchase it again, but it is a one trick pony, that will only be used about once per year. Now, if I will be able to find it next year...

I bought this device last year but didn't get to try it out until this year since last year's cherry crop was tiny. What a great tool! It's easy to use and very sturdy. Being able to pit six cherries at once makes quick work of the abundant harvest. It's easy on the hands and wrist. The pits drop out into a collection can and the cherries are easily removed from the device using the clearing plate. I would definitely recommend this tool if you have cherry trees and want to preserve the harvest.

The Oxi Multi-Cherry Pitter is a game changer! I am soooo happy. Makes pitting a breeze, even fun. A single pitter for jams and fruit salads is tedious. This takes maybe a 10th of the time, easy clean up, no spattering, no stained fingers or cutting boards, and dishwasher safe. You do need to check to catch the occasional dangling pit. Don't forget to pull all the way back to release the pitted cherries from the pegs so the cherries can fall through the hole into your bowl. The videos above are excellent. A fine welcome to cherry season!!!

Worked well. Really nice to be able to pit 6 cherries at once! It wasn't flawless, but I was pitting medium & mostly small sized cherries. I think it would work best with medium & large cherries. The smaller cherries stayed on the spikes & some of the pits didn't fully detach. Pits did get pushed out on all the cherries, though, so it was easy enough to pull off the 'danglers'. There was some juice spatter, but I expected that. Would definitely recommend this gadget to anyone who has a bunch of cherries to process.

I love cherries! I haven't been eating many due to the pit.This pitter is wonderful. Easy and fun to use. Pits 6 cherries at a time. It does a really good job. Once in awhile a pit will hang onto the bottom of the cherry, but that is rare. It's good quality and I like the sliding bottom that fits over most bowls. If you are looking for a home pitter for cherries or olives, I highly recommend this one. I very rarely write reviews. It has to be an exceptional item for me to do so.

I needed to pit about 15 lbs of tart cherries, and this was fantastic. Occasionally a pit would still be stuck in a cherry that I'd manually remove, but this was quite rare. Well worth the purchase!

Didn’t know I needed it until I needed it! I have never had so much fun taking care of fruit before! This gadget is so slick and great as it pits 5 at a time!
