Works good. The directions to connect it to your computer with an ethernet cable are very good. The board is powered by 24 volts DC but it only accepts 5 volts on the inputs. It is supposed to be used with then additional breakout board but I was careful with my inputs and they are all optically isolated so I didn't need one. But be warned, it's not designed to be used this way.It is a fast motion controller, the G-Code when it's running a program just flies! It works very well with uccnc software.

Would be nice if I did not have to purchase the license separately!Be aware the this item will only work with it's own license and that licenses are not transferable.

Versatile, Easy Setup, GREAT Ethernet interface for DIY CNC Machines
GREAT CNC Ethernet interface. Easy to setup software, connect to a network and be operational fast. I connected this to a break-out-board which drove the steppers and spindle motor. Also bought the UCCNC companion software. Very easy to use, and setup. Spoke with the people at CNCDrive (makers of the unit and software) they are VERY helpful and can answer any question you have. I got responses with 8 hours or less of my email inquiries.

Works great. The sticker on the board's proccessor you receive has the code to retrieve the liscense code to activate the free UCCNC software. A quick email to the company gives you the file to fully activate the software. And at $60.00 for the liscense forever is a bargin.

I finally kicked the Mach3 habit for good!!!!
Just started using this controller, and now have 3 running PERFECTLY!!!! I am using UCCNC software and have finally kicked the Mach3 habit. I can not recommend this product enough, it is truly THAT GOOD! Have it running on 2 CNC routers and 1 large format hotwire machine so far. Give this a shot, you will not regret it! Great forum where developers WILL answer questions.
