Once you have sorted out the morass of instructions !As a scanner it is excellent.However, the idea that it is a handy portable piece of equipmentis laughable.

This is a great product. The only reason I bought this though was that the previous version would not work with windows 8.1.When I bought this one in Jan 2015, IRIS had not sorted out the drivers with Windows yet (even thoough the box said it was compatible with 8.1... it was not! Over the next couple of weeks it became certified for and then worked with Windows 8.1. I was not impressed with IRIS... although I did finally receive reasonable support from them. All that said I love this product... but support is very patchy!

It wouldn't scan a photo without lines all the way down. I tried many cleaning cycles but no improvement. Also, I couldn't adjust the contrast/brightness to my satisfaction. I have many years experience with Photoshop where I can do what I want easily. Very disappointed as the scanner seemed to be just what I was looking for.

this was a good purchase it performs as stated, simple to use, a good product and good value for money.the delivery on this item was great.

I may have been more enthusiastic had I been able to plug and play. Instead had to do some convoluted work around to enter into W7 mode then install... painful but in the end the scanner is good, does what it says...

Ich möchte sagen, das ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Scanner bin... am Anfang war es erst etwas schwierig mit der Installation und wollte nicht klappen aber letztendlich habe ich alles doch noch zum laufen gebracht und es geht super !Habe Win8.1 und es läuft auch dort.Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen!

Pratico, funzionale, occupa pochissimo spazio e bello da vedere.La qualità delle scansioni è buona.Ottima per un utilizzo quotidiano.

Ce produit est pratique et simple mais non compatible avec windows 8 comme beaucoup d'autres articles.Le rapport prix/qualité/simplicité est intéressant.

Da ich von unterwegs öfters Berichte o.ä. versenden muss habe ich mir dieses kleine Teil zugelegt. Es ist leicht in der Installation und alles selbsterklärend. Installations CD liegt bei. Mir ist aufgefallen bei der Kalibrierung, dass das Blatt leicht verrutscht und nicht gerade eingezogen wird. Auch nicht wenn ich es genau am Rand positioniere, wo gekennzeichnet ist es anzulegen. Also wer es nicht so ganz perfekt brauch, da reicht es. Es kann dann in PDF, Word, JPG abgespeichert werden. Für das Gerät ist ein kleines Sackl vorhaneden zum Schutz für unterwegs.

Au démarrage le logiciel Readiris Pro 12 me demande un numéro de série que je ne possède pas :(Donc impossible d'utiliser l'OCR, qui était ma principale raison d'achat de ce produit. Très déçu...Mise à jour: C'était une "Offre Reconditionnée", et Amazon me propose un échange (contre un produit neuf).Je me suis adressé au SAV IRIS, qui m'a gracieusement fourni un nouveau numéro de série.Du coup je suis satisfait de cet achat, le scanner fonctionne très bien. Petit, léger, et surtout pratique pour scanner des pages à la volée ou même de petits documents (j'ai scanné ma carte d'identité sans problème). La reconnaissance de caractères (OCR) avec ReadIRIS Pro 12 fonctionne à merveille, en particulier pour les pages de magazines.
