Acratech 2150 Quick Release Plate for the Contax 645 AF and Mamiya RB, RZ / Non AF 645 without the Winder.

This fits the Mamiya 645 Pro TL perfectly. It is well made with good contact and should eliminate any twisting of the camera. Everything on the camera is accessible with the plate attached with the exception of the battery. The plate will have to come off for that when it becomes necessary. The plate is oriented to the camera 90 degree to what I am used to. The dovetails on all my other plates run perpendicular to the lens. This plate has the dovetails parallel to the lens, requiring the camera to be mounted on the tripod 90 degrees to any other camera I have. Not a big problem, just different.If you use a lever clamp you could have a problem if the clamp can't be adjusted for differences in plate dimensions. This plate has the standard 1.5" width but the T width of the dovetails is shorter than any other plate I have, including the RRS L-bracket.Seemed a bit expensive at first, but after considering the options, like universal and other custom fit plates, this looked like the best choice. I'm liking it!

Fits perfectly and holds the camera (in my case a 645 Pro TL) very well. Only downside is the price, which is fairly high in comparison to a generic plate that would work 80% as well for 20% of the price.
