Why does everyone shame on these?
Put in my 2000 7.3. Lots of wires to connect up, that’s probably what takes the longest. But everything is color coded so you can’t mess anything up the instructions are great and glow shift makes a great YouTube tutorial on how to install that covers everything. Highly recommend having two people to install just makes the process a lot faster and way easier. They work perfectly as advertised and do not flicker at all and if they do one of your power wires has a bad connection. Buy these ones can’t beat the price for decent quality.

Great for the price
The install was pretty straight forward. I took me about 4-5 hours to get everything in and working. The gauges them self work pretty good. My boost gauge came out of the box reading 4 psi of boost. I hooked it all up thinking it might “reset” back to zero, like it should be at... When I then connected to power/boost line, it continued to read 4psi while the truck was idling. The boost gauge worked and was responsive, just the reading was off... whatever you saw on the gauge you just had to subtract 4 psi to get your actual measurement. Other than the fact of having a 60 psi boost gauge is pointless because I will never even get close to 60 psi, I plan on purchasing a 40psi boost gauge to replace the original one that does not read correctly. Other than that the gauges are awesome. They work great for the money!!!

Boost gauge flickers
Really great product for the money but the time it took to do this install became quite the frustration. My kit didn’t come with the connections for the tranny sensor as pictured. Had to make it a two day job since I was wrapping up the install in the evening. After getting everything installed and setup properly I found that the boost gauge flickers when the headlamps are turned on. Non of the other gauges flicker and everything is installed correctly; apparently this is a know issue with glowshift boost gauges.Still enjoy the product, just wish it had everything it was supposed to and the boost gauge didn’t flicker.

Good product for the price
Gauges are as stated they look good and the install was fairly simple took me about 2hrs.The Only thing I don’t like is the 60psi boost gauge. Who runs that much boost??? I’m running a stock ford diesel with 220k miles only making 10psi at WOT. that gauge is basically useless... eventually I will buy the 35 psi gauge they have.

Nice
It took me awhile to hook up but once I hook everything up, it works really good.

Do your research if you plan to install yourself.
The gauges work as expected and the installation was not too horribly difficult aside from tapping into your fuses. I had no knowledge of such going into the installation. Be sure to get the appropriate fuse tapping accessories as well as fuses to go with, also, don't forget to have a wire tap handy. As a whole the installation is not difficult, just do your research and have the appropriate tools/equipment ready.

Not a plug and play harness.
Product came as advertised. The additional wire harness is not plug and play(which it should be!!!) Install was relatively easy for the 7.3TDieasel. Gage pod is close to factory grey color but darker. The dimming setting is not working on mine, they dim but then flicker. They are not to bright to use at night when not dimmed. Would recommend getting a 0-30psi boost gauge instead of 0-60psi for a factory turbo with no time. Add the glowshift “T” for the boost. And go to local hardware store for the tap and bit.
