This is an exact reproduction center parking brake cable as offered in the Ford Racing M-2300-K 5-LUG FRONT/REAR SUPER HEAVY-DUTY COBRA DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT for 1987-1993 Mustangs. Includes the retaining clips. The kit was first used on the 1993 Mustang Cobra R. Ford has ceased production of this cable which has resulted in some enthusiasts going without. Some suggest using a cable that is very similar however it is not the direct replacement you had hoped for. Other retailers suggest they have the only replacement cable available on the market. This is false. Not only is their cable not identical in length, material quality, warranty period nor proven longevity it's also more expensive. These cables can also be used if performing the rear disk brake conversion but retaining the four lug axles (as I did) or if you are converting to 1994-2004 5-lug rear disk brake upgrade/conversion.
