Love being able to switch computers with just a button!
Love this monitor! I’m using it to switch between a Mac mini which I use for work & my gaming pc. It took a bit of trial & error to get it going but it works great!

Frequent black screens during use. Decent image quality
This monitor was a great budget monitor at first. About a month after I bought it, it started randomly blacking out, and then returning a second later with the input name showing (e.g. HDMI2, DisplayPort). I've tried it with a pc laptop, a macbook, and a pc desktop across several different input ports. It seems to do them on all. Sometimes it will be fine for a while, but other times (and especially on certain apps) it'll do it constantly (like every 30 seconds). It is beyond annoying and totally useless for gaming. Customer service wants me to ship it back to them on my dime, but because the issue is intermittent, I'm worried they'll miss it and think the monitor is ok. I 100% regret buying this monitor and consider it a total loss.

Great Monitor (Pardon the video quality, Amazon cuts it for some reason)
The media could not be loaded. This is literally the only monitor I could find that you can connect a console to as well as a clamshell mode MacBook Pro.Everything listed in the product description is correct and accurate. It’s a really good monitor. It’s pretty expensive but if you’re willing to pay that price to have an all in one monitor, then this is the only one you’ll find (unless something has changed since like May of 2024).I have literally no complaints about this monitor and I am very picky with what I consider to be high quality. This transcends that. 11/10

Buy this, you won't regret it.
I bought 3 different monitors before landing on this one. This is a good monitor, so I bought another! I prefer 27" to 32" for image sharpness. I also discovered that LG monitors are using RwBG which does not display text clearly. This monitor is good for office work and gaming. My only regret is that I didn't buy a 3'rd one!

Off angle viewing is bad
I was in need of a new monitor as my secondary monitor finally stopped working and my main monitor is over 13 years old now. So it's only a matter of time before it goes as well. So I spent a lot of time doing research and found a lot of recommendations for the m27u being a good all rounder for use.In my search for a new monitor one of the things I was looking for was good off angle viewing. Being a ips panel and all the reviews seeming to say that off angle on the monitor is ok I ordered the m27u. After getting it setup it only took me a little bit of time to noticed that being anywhere other then directly in front of it causes the colors to wash out. Pretty sure it's the matte filter they put in front of the panel. I've included pictures of the m27u and two older ips displays. M27u is the middle one, left is a Dell 2408WFP from 2009, and the laptop is a ips, not sure what panel from 2013. It's so bad that what some might assuming is ips panel glow is really the filter starting to wash out the corners of the screen sitting in front of it.Other wise the monitor seems good, 4k high refresh, some hdr support. Though I'm not sure why they included built in speakers. I'd be ok with built in speakers, but these sounds like they were tossed in to just tick a box and no testing was done to see if they add anything of worth. If anything they make the monitor seem like cheap junk if you couldn't see the panel. You get better audio quality out of most cell phones these days.

KVM-Equipped 4K Monitor: Cable Management Dream at a Bargain Price
After years with my trusty LG 27UD68 (27", 4K60, IPS) since around 2018, I decided it was time for an upgrade. The old monitor had served me well, but years of use had left it with noticeable burn-in effects, with icons taking minutes to disappear from the taskbar area or desktop when entering full-screen applications. As a casual gamer primarily playing League of Legends and Roblox with my children, I was curious about the 144Hz refresh rate. While frame rate overlays confirm 144fps in Roblox (set in graphics settings), I personally struggle to perceive a significant difference across these games. More serious gamers may appreciate this feature more, but I wanted to offer my perspective as an older, casual user. The built-in KVM is undoubtedly the highlight of this monitor. It has streamlined my setup considerably, eliminating the need for a separate KVM switch and additional HDMI cables. The attached picture in the review showcases the dramatic cable reduction achieved by using the built-in KVM, a clear visual representation of the improved cable management. Now, a single USB-C connection to my MacBook Pro enables 4K144 display, keyboard/mouse control, and access to my external USB mic and webcam. I can effortlessly switch between devices:PC: For general use and gamingMacBook Pro: For work meetings, utilizing the camera and micSamsung S23 Ultra: For DeX mode, with phone charging and full desktop functionalitySwitching between devices is as simple as pressing the KVM button on the back of the monitor. While the monitor excels in many areas, it's not without flaws:USB-C output is limited to 15W PD, insufficient for charging a MacBook under heavy use. Workaround: Use the Mac's charger for heavy use, or accept slower charging during idle times.HDR performance is subpar, with odd color tinting and low contrast. Workaround: Use the HDR calibration tool available in the Microsoft Store to improve performance slightly.Local dimming is limited to about 8 vertical zones, sometimes causing visible striping effects as bright objects pass across the screen.Despite these issues, at the current price of $330, this monitor offers exceptional value. The KVM feature alone justifies the purchase for users with multiple devices, though its utility may diminish in multi-monitor setups. Personally, I prefer a single monitor setup at home due to space constraints. While not perfect, this monitor represents a significant upgrade from my previous setup. The combination of 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and the invaluable KVM feature make it a compelling choice, especially at its current price point. For users juggling multiple devices or seeking a versatile display solution, this monitor is well worth considering. The drawbacks, while notable, are manageable given the monitor's strengths and competitive pricing.
