Game changer!
As soon as the summer hit my daughter was getting up so early, even with blackouts shades. I was recommended this by a friend and it’s been a game changer. It took about a week for my daughter to get in the habit and understand that she had to wait for green to get out of bed. She loves it…I mean can not wait to turn on the red light every night and soooo proud to show me she waited for the green light. It’s really been so helpful.

Great Sleep Training Tool
Our daughter was having a constant problem getting up way too early for us, we purchased another type of clock from Amazon and it was a failure, however we read the mix reviews on this and were skeptical, after we returned the other one and got this one . A year later, we must say this thing is freaking awesome and amazing. We can actually get an extra 30 minutes of sleep and it may not sound like a lot but for a parent with a toddler its' an extra 30 minutes of not having someone jumping on your head, or screaming at you. The key thing we realized with this clock is; its a training tool and order for you to be successful at it you have to train your kid. With our daughter we taught her when the "Light is red, we stay in bed", and When the light is Green its time to get up. We set the clock up for 6:30 in the morning, but the key thing is at night we turn the alarm on together and its a sign that we need to slow down and get ready to go to bed. If she wakes up at 6:00 AM, we walk her back to bed and she lays there till the light turns green. She has now been conditioned to get a book or play with her dolls until the light on the clock turns green, which has been a plus for us. It took us about a week to get the concept down including sending her back to her room until her clock turns green in the morning several times, and within a month she would sit in her bed quietly until the light turns. We also found out with our daughter her standard wake up time is 6:30, and we tried to see if we can manipulate her into staying in bed later with the clock and it did not work. The problem is she is only willing to stay in bed for up to 30 minutes, and after that she gets restless, so my advice is to use this in conjunction with your kids natural wake/sleep cycle, as this will not work miracles. Our only regret is that we did not discover this early enough it would of saved us some extra months of sanity.Cons:One Setting: You can only setup one alarm time, there is no timer. It would be great if there was a timer setting so we could use this for nap time. Because there is only one time setting we only use it at night. The setup is kind of cumbersome which means once we have it setup we don't mess with it.Price: I think the price is kinda of high for what this product is, but I guess you are selling parents control over their toddlers wake-up schedule, and an extra 3.5 hours of sleep per week in our case. I guess most parents would pay more than the asking price for that.

Kid tested, Parent approved
We bought this in 2017 to help with our five-year-old son who couldn’t tell time yet and was waking us up too early. For us it works when we associate the greenlight with a reward. If he stayed in the room until the green light, he gets a small reward. We are using the same clock on our daughter now.

It will suffice
The quality is nice. I love the cuteness and design. It’s extremely lightweight. The lights work well and the kids learned the green light system within 2 days!! And now they ask for it to go on, and we all can sleep in more. But what I don’t like is there isn’t an option for two alarms.. we wake up for school at 6am and on the weekend I have reset the green light to 8am. The kids play in their room until it goes off and it WORKS. But having to reset and reset is a bit much. So I actually purchased another small clock for school alarm. And now we just use the green light on the off school days. But the kids wish we could have it on every night. They use the yellow nightlight. I painted the light buttons pink with nail polish because every button being the same confused the two year old and 7 year old and they kept setting the clock time instead. Not exactly kid friendly in that way.

BEST purchase for early riser toddler
Our son was waking up at 5am, sometimes as early as 4:30am. Way too early in our household! He had been a 7am riser which is much more our style. When we started using this clock, my son was still working on talking but he understood red lights and green lights when we drove in the car so I thought this would be a concept he would understand. We started setting the clock at 6am. The first few mornings he woke up before his light had turned green. We would go in his room (he's in a crib still) and let him know he couldn't get up until it turned green. He wasn't happy but after a few days he got it! Once he understood the concept, we started setting the clock later and later until we got him back to 7am! This clock has literally been a lifesaver. We have an infant daughter too and my son who is very loud was waking everyone in the house.A few things that aren't great about the clock -1. When the power goes out, the clock turns off (even though you put batteries in it). If your power goes back on, it will have the correct time. Not a big deal if your child is already asleep or stays asleep during the power outage.2. We use this clock for nap time as well but since there is only one alarm setting, we have to change the alarm time twice a day (not that big of a deal).3. For us (this may not matter to some children), our kids are used to sleeping in dark rooms with no night lights. The red light that shines all night was too bright for our son so we put electrical tape over the light and clock numbers (made the clock not as cute). It still glows red which he likes but without the tape it was a little too bright (for us).4. My son thought this was a toy because of the cute little boy in the car. Also not a huge deal. It is up high where he can't reach it but there was some whining and tears in the beginning because he really wanted to play with it. He knows now that just mommy and daddy can touch the clock.Overall, this has been one of our best purchases as parents! Our son calls "I'll call you when the light turns green" every night as we close his door.
