Canyon Creek Mexican Style Falsa Yoga Blanket (Mixed)

We are using this rug to cover a cushion on our living room chair. The chair is still sturdy, but it was peeling from wear and tear. This is an attractive alternative to the other cushion covers I found on Amazon. Plus it was cheap, so I don't mind that it might not last forever. My dogs like this chair, so it's durable enough to protect the chair from further damage and washes easily. I appreciate that it's thinner than a better quality blanket, because I'm tucking it around a cushion and it allows for more ease than something thicker. I would not recommend this if you are looking for a heavy, durable blanket. I have a better quality Mexican blanket that I use for yoga.

The people who are leaving bad reviews for these blankets are stupid. They have no idea what they're buying. These blankets are meant to be rough they're meant to have a loose weave. They get softer with time. I ordered a random color and I ended up getting blue with tan which is actually pretty nice. I have a few of these blankets now and this is probably the nicest one I have. the weave is relatively tight and it's pretty soft right out of the box before I even washed it. There's no pieces of acrylic sticking out which is a common problem with these blankets and it's relatively well made, there isn't even a lot of variation in the color, which usually you have Little Fibers of all different colors in these blankets and with this one you actually don't. Solid Baja blanket/ falsa blanket. I really like it. I can live with the fact that it's partially blue and that's not my favorite color because at least I didn't get yellow.

The fabric is slightly thin and the edges are rough. I got the assorted and received a red/lilac/black combo which is ok with me. The label said made in Mexico 60% acrylic 40% cotton. Because if the low cost I considered it a good value until I washed it. Shedding was excessive. It seemed like half the blanket came of in lint. I plan to wash it a second time because there is still a faint odor. Even at the low cost I don’t think I would recommend it.

Nice looking blanket. Arrived days early, which was quite nice. A good size, about 6'6"x4', soft, a nice color light purple (mauve?), seems sturdy, and looked great. I have a cat that sheds and was looking for something to use as a throw that he could sit on that could be easily cleaned or replaced. I bought one the other day from another seller that was $6 more and I swear they are identical except for color (blue). For $10 and free shipping, you can't beat this.

The blanket came apart like a dilapidated rug in my washer, and filled my washer with debris that did not quite look like fabric. I have no idea what it is made out of, but I now have to vacuum and wipe down my washer. This was a disgusting, frustrating waste of money. I strongly buyers to beware. I am returning now, and strongly advise you to purchase a different blanket from different source.
