Brabantia Roll Top Bread Bin (Pine Green) Large Front Opening Flat Top Bread Box, Fits 2 Loaves

Looking through the rest of the reviews I can't believe no one else has mentioned this. I have no issue with the look or functionality of the bread bin but the inside metal part, which is exposed when the lid is up, is knife sharp. I cut myself months ago on it and thought ok, that's not ideal but kept the bin. I am currently nursing another very sore cut, under my nail, which happened when I reached in yesterday. A definite hazard which I think brabantia should address..

Nicely styled with good capacity and no sharp edges. It does however slide about on the worktop as others have said and this is obviously a design fault that Brabantia need to fix. This is easily resolved by adding some self adhesive rubber feet. I purchased these “StarTech.com 1-1/4in Dia. Self-Adhesive Rubber Feet for PC Cases - System case feet (pack of 4) - RUBBERFEET” for £1.19 and they are perfect.

this bread bin was replacing the old model which had a stupid clip (a half-baked idea if there ever was one) which unsurprisingly became toast after a few years. This roll top is well constructed and looks great, with no stupid design flaws. It proved its worth almost immediately. Whoever designed this should get a raise! Should last a lifetime unlike some of the stale designs out there.

Absolutely love my breadbin! At first I was amazed by the size, seemed to me too big, but once you got your bread, wraps and crumpets inside seems perfect fit! Also I can confirm that there is no fingerprints!

This is a good bread bin, good quality and well designed!It seems to keep the bread fresh for longer atleast longer than other breadbins i have had. it has raised bumps inside the bread bin that allows air to be circulated around the bread which i am guessing is what is helping to keep the freshness.It does have a flat ledge on top which allows you to store a few items on top, I dont really use this but could be useful design feature for somebody else.would recommend this product.

It took me a little while to find a bread bin large enough and this was worth all the searching. We're only a family of 3 but we get through a lot of bread! This can easily fit 2 loaves of bread or 1 loaf plus bagels, crumpets etc. The flat top is really handy too, for storage

Small enough for my needs as I have very little counter top space.Nicely made, easy open door and goes well with my other black and stainless steel appliances.Holds just one shop bought large loaf but I usually make my own bread which is smaller so have a bit of space for buns but not much more.Could have done with some rubber feet as is prone to slide about so have placed my bin on some anti slip matting which has cured the problem.Bread stays fresh for four days instead of the three when kept in a bread bag so no longer throwing away the last couple of slices.The roller door does not impinge on the bread inside and the flat top allows for storage of small items.Knocked off one star as I thought the price was high for a small size bread bin compared to the general size.

For many years, I had a old wooden bread bin so I thought it was time for a change. I trust Brabantia and they make premium products. This bread bin is no exception. The roll top lid opens back and forth quite easily so it's easy to get to your bread. The bread bin itself is quite large and depthy though I can really only fit one loaf of bread in here at a time. If you try fitting two in, the roll top won't go back any further because of the bread blocking it. But that's not a huge deal. I also bought the Brabantia metal canisters which I've put on top of it. They all looks pretty nice.
