I have an old Sony DVD player that lately I’ve been watching from sitting in an easy chair. The charging cable for the DVD player is for connecting to an automobile cigarette lighter socket making it very difficult to charge the Sony from inside the house. I know very little about volts and watts, but I thought I would take a chance and try this charging cable by connecting it to a USB portable battery and the female end to the automobile cigarette lighter cable. It worked. I can now charge the DVD player from anywhere using a portable USB battery and the original charging cable.

Loose connection
It “works” I’m using it for a radar detector, and the connection seems to be loose. The power supply loses contact. It was inexpensive and will probably work well for others, I’m in a one ton truck and I’m not fastening the cable down.

Quite handy when the one in your car is broke
I got this items because the cigarette lighter spot in my car needs replacing and I do not have the time to get it fixed at the moment. It is a short cord so it doesn't got to far. It does fit various cords that require a cigarette lighter plug spot. I bought a connector to make it longer and to charge my phone and it works great. The only caveat is that since the plug fits various sizes, it's not a tight hold. But that doesn't cause many issues. Quite simple to use. Plug into the USB port in my car and go. Honestly you can plug it into any USB source. You know its on and working when the center box has a red light coming from it. So far it seems quite durable. It was a good price. If needed, I would buy again.

Tal cual lo describen !!! Mi carro ya no trae encendedor ! Traen puros puertos usb :/ Y la cámara que traigo de seguridad se conecta Justo al encendedor entonces con este adaptador funciona perfectamente:) si lo buscan para algo así es Perfecto !
