Koss KEB25iK Ear Bud with Microphone, Black

I'm a bit conflicted with the overall rating. I would give a 5-star but I gave a 4-star because it took a lot of fiddling with the jack to get the sound to come on. We used it for a Cricket smart phone, removed its case and still had to twist the jack in circles, back and forth, before the sound played through. We tested these Koss earbuds with a regular AM/FM Walkman radio that I recently purchased on Amazon as well and the sound played through with no issues. :) Still a great buy and the sound quality is the same nice Koss quality that many are looking for. These earbuds come with a few different silicone and foam replacement sizes too. :) Nice touch!

I'll cut to the chase; these are exceptionally unexceptionable. They have brilliantly detailed treble with nice timbre, but the mid-range is virtually absent-to-compresssed at best. Low-end is a mixed bag. Sub-bass is deep and plentiful with nice texture, but mid-bass is severely lacking in both mass and impact. Vocals are mostly forward with a nice level of smoothness.Ultimately the extreme V-Shape and lack of any sort of midrange detail destroys whatever potential these have. Add to that severely anemic mid-bass, and you really just have a product not worth buying for $25. At this price you can have the mostly suberb BLON BL-03s.

The fit is not comfortable, you need to put a lot of pression in your ear, so you can get a proper sound and insulation.

These are great buds. The quality of sound is fantastic. Koss has been making headphones for decades. It's the only headphones/ear buds I've used since I was a teen. Sure you can find better but you'll end up paying more for it when all you really needed was Koss.

I have only owned Koss headphones or earbuds my entire life due to their sound reproduction and longevity in both types.

Great sound quality as expected from Koss. The microphone is not the best, but convenient if you need one.The soft earpieces allow you to customize how tight of a fit you want. It is easy to fit them loosely and still hear your surroundings or snugly for more noise cancellation.

My wife uses these daily on her 5 mile walks.Says they have been working well.

Pros:- Sleek and simple design- Decent enough sound quality for earbuds- Microphone piece not big and bulkyCons:- Did not like the standard in-ear cushions, replaced them with others that I had- Terribly unbalanced, the right earbud is much louder than the left earbud (the one with the mic attachment), This drove me absolutely insane, not sure if it was there since the beginning but after 2 weeks of use all I could feel was like everything was to the right of me with more power coming from that earbud than the left one, absolutely awful.

Es realmente increíble que esta marca sea tan desvalorada y que otras marcas más caras y con peores calidades sean más "reconocidas". Y sí, te estoy hablando a ti Bose, Beats, Sennheiser, Sony, etc...Tengo y he tenido varios pares de audífonos a lo largo de la vida, pasando por Sony, Beats, Philips, Skullcandy, Marshall, Apple Inear (los costosos de antes), JBL, Shure y demás...He probado otros tantos pares como Bose, Onkyo, Sennheiser, Bowers & Wilkins, Harman Kardon, Jaybird, Monster y muchos más.Puedo afirmar con mucha confianza que si es que estás buscando un audio real, con una calidad exquisita y rica, de esos audios que te pueden causar cosas que solo Six Flags, Disneylandia y otras personas hacen sentir.Los bajos son puros, con una extensión de hasta 8 hertz audibles, y no se hable de 15 o 20hertz, tus oídos comienzan a retumbar y tu cerebro se revuelve. Claro, puede que mis oídos ya no estén perfectos o que mi dispositivo no llegara a los 21 KH pero llegó a los 20,600 sin ningún problema.Los vocales son finos y detallados, los bajos aunque sí, son rotundos, no es nada absurdo como los JBL o Beats, pero más marcados que los Bose y que los Sennheiser Momentum. Los agudos son increíbles donde puedes identificar un violín junto con todas sus notas como si estuviera justo ahí al lado. Pero no te dejes llevar por lo anterior, es increíble la precisión con la puedes apuntar mentalmente hacia cada instrumento, distinguido y separado de todos los demás. Por su puesto, cuentan con unas gomas de Memoryfoam para un aislamiento perfecto, que si bien funcionan, para personas que tal vez necesiten estar quitando un auricular para escuchar o hablar o demás, tal vez no sean muy convenientes. Por lo que si tienes un par de gomas de silicona de otros audífonos, puedes cambiarlas sin problemas, son perfectamente compatibles y no se resbalan en lo absoluto. Son muy cómodos y te otorgan ese aislamiento perfecto para ambientes ruidosos.Vamos a cerrar con "son los mejores audífonos que puedes comprar con 2 mil pesos, PERO CUESTAN MENOS DE 400!!!!!!"Es de verdad una ganga, un verdadero robo a Koss. Si solo hay algo que criticarles, es su cable, se siente muy delgado y frágil, aunque no hay que recalcar en eso porque le he dado ya unos cuantos tirones y siguen sonando como la mismísima orquesta de minería en vivo.No solo éstos son un buen trato, también he probado los UR23i y vaya que son también una delicia en los oídos.No desperdicies 800 ni 1500 en unos beats, o unos audiotechnica, ni mucho menos en unos ridículos Sony.Ve por Koss, no hay falla en la compra.

Si vienes buscando el sonido característico de koss de diadema en un unos in-ear, te topaste con pared, te van a decepcionar, ahora, no dije que se escuchen mal, para nada, pero no tienen esa calidad de sonido, sus almohadillas son cómodas, pero en mi caso personal nunca pude tener un sello o un ajuste perfecto con estos audífonos, siempre se me resbalan de la oreja, pero eso sí, nunca te van a cansar, hablando de su construcción, el pero que le pongo es que su cable es muy delgadito, sientes que en un jalón se te pueden romper, pero a pesar de que dan esa impresión, no son tan frágiles, en cuanto al audio, si tienes más o menos una idea de cómo suenan los koss, supongamos que los koss porta pro son 10, estos se quedan en un 6-7, así que no le pidas mucho, creo que para su precio están aceptables, pero quizá te pase lo que a mí y se te estén cayendo a cada rato.(tengo oreja promedio)

These foam tips are interesting. They are firmer and returns to its original shape very quickly. Unlike regular foam tips that need to be squeezed and placed in your ears perfectly to sit well, you can just shove KEB25i into your ears like regular silicone tipped earphones yet still has the seal and shapeability of foam tips.They sound pretty good too. Definitely on par with Chi-Fi in the same price range, which is impressive.

Koss es una marca conocida por ofrecer audífonos con diseños "vintage" o muy simples pero con una buena calidad de sonido, y estos audífonos no son la excepción.Después de usar unos Xiaomi Hybrid Pro HD y unos KZ ZS3, no esperaba mucho de estos audífonos pero me llevé una grata sorpresa. Tienen buen sonido y las almohadillas goma son muy cómodas y ayudan a aislar mejor el sonido que las de silicón que usualmente traen los audífonos de este rango de precio.No le pongo 5 estrellas porque el cable es muy delgado y afecta la durabilidad de los audífonos.

Nice warm sound, but the cable is very delicate and flimsy, so i can't just shove it in my bag like what i do with my sennheiser earbuds. I personally like the silicon earbuds better than this foam, because silicon ones have better sound isolation.
