Greenall’s Gin Black Cherry - 70 cl

Really surprised at all the positive reviews for this gin. The taste was more chemical than botanical. The Gordon's version of this pink gin is way better.

The evening started off like any other… Bbq, friends (limited number!), Outside, Enjoying the British summer evening etc. All went well. I finished the last bit of Hendricks Gin with a friend and then switched to this one. With the first sip, it felt like I drank Limescale. I thought it was my imagination, and took another sip… horrendous. The artificial Berry taste reminded me of ordering a coffee once from a vendor where the machine hasn’t beed descaled for a significant amount of time. Sharp and chemical. Needless to say, I wasn’t going to ‘torture’ myself by finishing the drink. I think the only thing that might help with this drink, is if I can find an appropriate Berry mixer to overpower the ‘Wild Berry’ taste.Or I should have been a bit more Biblical and kept the good stuff, Hendricks, for last! ;-)

This is the 2nd time we've purchased Greenalls Blood Orange & Fig Gin. Bought it for my niece as a Birthday gift first time, she loved it. Also the Gin is sugar free, so if you're diabetic or watching your diet it's well worth the purchase!!

I love gin and am a type 2 diabetic so I don't feel so bad drinking this gin occasionally. It tastes nice with sugar free cloudy lemonade as a tall drink. A reasonably priced, decent quality gin that I will certainly buy again !

I decided to try the gin as it was on offer and good value for money but I don’t really like it. I can’t taste the berry flavours at all and it’s quite artificial the smell. Not my type of pink gin- I think, I’ll go back to the pink Gordon’s

Fair. Ok in a cocktail. Price is fairly reasonable. Considering it's often the cheapest 70cl bottle of gin in Amazon, it's a fair drink. It's cleaning too. No headaches next day. Flavour is a bit flat. It's fine. It's ok. That's all you can say.

I’m no gin expert but I’ve consumed my fair share over the years. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this gin was particularly at the low price £12. I enjoyed it so much it went in a few days - I blame the hot weather. And I’ve just purchased another bottle for the same price. My advice, use good tonic water and it won’t last long!

Really enjoyed this gin, you can certainly taste the fig coming through with the orange and its low sugar so great if you're a diabetic like me.Gets you pretty squiffy so be careful lol, lovely with lemonade as a tall drink.This was an okay price, will probably buy again if it's ever on offer.
