Kids can rush to the rescue with the Fast Lane Rescue Center Playset, a Toys 'R' Us exclusive. With a complete set of emergency vehicles, they can respond to any disaster. Once the multi-level center is assembled, kids can monitor any developing situations from the tower, and once something happens, launch the appropriate vehicle from the garages. The set includes a police car, an ambulance, a fire truck, and a rescue helicopter. There is a real working elevator to move vehicles up and down, a car-launching garage, and a rescue car express ramp. It even has realistic lights and sounds! Assembled dimensions: 12"H x 18"W x 13"L. Weight: 3 lbs.

DO NOT BUY THIS TOY
My boys received this rescue center as gift for their 3rd birthday. They were very excited because they love all rescue vehicles and workers. That's why it's such a shame that it is such low quality. The concept of this toy is cute, but the pros end there. You know right away taking it out of the box how poorly made it is. I put it together and within a few minutes of playing, pieces were already coming apart or coming off. Even with fairly gentle play, pieces just break away (the garage doors). This was broken on their first day of play. I super glued pieces back together or in place multiple times until it became unsafe to even use it, so we had to take it away. My boys miss it. It is very sad to me that companies even market such poor quality stuff. Why not just charge more and make it better? Don't they have kids of their own? 3 year olds don't understand that we had to take it away for their own good because it's a piece of garbage. It makes me very unhappy. I'd much rather spend more $ for something good quality and durable. Really, DO NOT BUY THIS. It's TERRIBLY MADE.

Super Glue to the Rescue
I got this at a Black Friday sale. It was supposedly originally priced at $30 at Toys R Us and I got it for $20.On Christmas morning, I was so discouraged at the time it took to put it together. Then, every time my four year old son tried to move it, it came apart. Finally we just put it away. Last night (Jan. 21) I finally had time to get super glue and glue it as I put it together. He has been playing with this morning and has broken one of the garage doors, but still had fun.It is cheaply made but can be fun. If you can get it for $10 or less and are ready with the glue, I would recommend it.

So not worth the money I paid
I purchased this at Toys R Us in the store so did not have the chance to review rating before I made this purchase. What an awfully constructed toy! It fell apart in under 5 minutes! I thought this would be great for my son since I have had such a hard time finding Hot Wheels or Matchbox towns like I had when I was a kid (or at least ones that aren't scary looking) and was so excited to find this. That was quickly subdued when it would not stay together. As the other poster mentioned - you would need super glue or something to hold this together. Hoping that Toys R Us gets it together and makes a better product soon!

Do not waste your money
My son and I managed to destroy this toy in less than 4 hours with very gentle play. The plastic is cheap and brittle, the parts did not line up properly, nor did everything work as intended. When the plastic of this toy breaks, it is VERY jagged. Also, the age listed as appropriate for this toy is off. There are several small pieces included.I have found that all of the Fast Lane play sets are the same - poorly made, poor materials, too hard to put together, and overall not worth the money, time and effort. The very worst part of all about this toy is that the layout, features, and design are great! For the little bit of time we played with it - it was fun...then it fell apart. I think the total count was 7 broken pieces, not to include the "poles" or "flags." Thankfully a manager at Toys R Us saw the mess we brought in and let us pick something else out.

I agree with every one else. In short "TOTAL JUNK"
My 3 yrs old son got this as birthday present this afternoon. He was very excited to see this in the package but as soon I opened it and tried to assemble my nightmare began.Instructions are poorly shown with no words and bad pictures. No matter what you do you can not keep the blue jail thing together.I wasted 45 minutes to an hour and then I finally gave up.This is a present so unfortunately we can not even return it .But for those who are planing to buy "PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS A PIECE OF JUNK EVEN FOR THE CHEAPEST PRICE YOU CAN GET ".I gave it one star because there is no such thing as no star on amazon.

Too frustrating for kids- falls apart
My 4 year old son spent hours playing with this non-stop, but I spent just as much time putting it back together again, OVER and OVER and OVER. Should have read these reviews. He gets frustrated with it and I'm sure the younger siblings will soon have all the parts scattered everywhere, and the entire things will be useless. There are plenty of other similar toys out there at a slightly higher price. Do yourself a favor and spend a few bucks more and get a toy that can handle being touched without falling apart.

Fast Lane Toys are Cheaply Made and Will Quickly Break.
This toy was a neat IDEA, but the brand is very low quality. My 3-year old son loves cars, ambulances and all the little things this toy had to offer, but immediately after putting it together (and before he had even touched it) a part broke. 3 out of 4 of the garage "doors" split and 2 other parts broke in the first 48 hours. This was not due to abuse or misuse. The toy was $39 so I took it back and got a $20 car-carrier truck that came with 3 cars. Both doors broke off the truck in 3 days. Fool me once, shame on you (ToysRUs); fool me twice, shame on me. This is a BAD brand, and I would suggest you not waste your money on it.

Cheaply made, needs gorilla glue, but fun anyway!!
I bought this at Toys R Us for a much lower price than listed here. It is definitely made very cheaply, but hey, it's a cheap toy, what do you expect?! Get out your gorilla glue so you can keep all the pieces from falling apart, and the kids will love it! My boys, age 3 and 6, have played with it for hours! :o)
