Sky ValleyOrganic Red Sofrito Sauce, 13 OZ

Flavor is pretty on point with your traditional hispanic based sofrito, but this has an added spiciness flavor to it too. The "heat" isn't overpowering, and I'm not into spicy food. My husband loves spicy food, and he liked the level of spicy it brought to my pollo guisado. He went for seconds, so I call that a win. lol Love that the ingredients are organic. The consistency is more pureed than I'm used to, but it didn't change anything to the overall outcome of the meal. And sure, I could make sofrito myself, but this is helpful when you don't want to get all the ingredients and go through all the work, to be honest. I'd purchase this again.

I like the flavor, goes great with grilled chicken, black bean and rice. Yum!
