Excellent book on price action trading with many worthwhile tips. This book is focused on beginner to intermediate traders who have had at least some experience in live markets. I've been trading for 20+ years and recommend this book to everyone.

I'm new to stocks and trading. My first encounter with Rayner was on UTube where he gave an instructional session on Candles which clarified on how to understand and interpret the various patterns. Since then have viewed other videos of his and purchased his Price Action Trading Secrets book. To a new trader it provided invaluable technical knowledge combined with sound guidelines on how be a become a more successful trader. Has a realistic approach to trading and doesn't make any outlandish hyped-up claims you often encounter in promotional material online. Has a great sense of humor and is a real down to earth individual. Now that I have read this book its time to study it's concepts and begin applying them.

This was a great book packed with practical examples that will benefit both new and experienced traders alike. What sets it apart is how Rayner Teo breaks down complex concepts into actionable strategies that anyone can understand and apply. The risk management strategies outlined in this book are particularly valuable and can be applied to virtually any asset class, whether you're trading stocks, forex, crypto, or commodities. These principles alone are worth the price of the book. Having written about stop loss placement and risk management myself, I can truly appreciate how well Rayner explains these critical concepts in a way that just clicks. One of the biggest golden nuggets for me was the emphasis on removing all lagging indicators and focusing purely on real-time price action. This shift in perspective has already changed how I view the markets and approach my trades. The book is well-structured with clear examples throughout, making it easy to grasp the concepts and see how they work in actual market conditions. The MAEE and MBEE formulas provide practical frameworks you can implement immediately. What really resonated with me was Rayner's motivational message at the end of the book. It's a powerful reminder that anyone can achieve their trading goals with the right mindset, dedication, and proper execution. It's not just about the technical skills, it's about believing in your ability to succeed. I've been following Rayner's YouTube content for a while now, and his teaching style has been a great source of inspiration. This book captures that same clarity and practical approach that makes his videos so helpful. Whether you're day trading, swing trading, or position trading, this book offers valuable insights that will improve your trading performance. Would I recommend this book? Absolutely. It's a must-read for traders who want to strip away the noise and focus on what truly matters in the markets.

Great for beginners. The person claiming he “doeant (yes doeant) even teach how to draw support and resistance” must have missed the whole page before it that explains it and he was simply saying if you want a better explanation in video form here is a link to watch it…. Not to mention the whole rest of the chapter is dedicated to support and resistance. Yes you can find all this same information for free online but this is organized in relevant order for someone who is just getting into trading so that way they aren’t overwhelmed when they pull up a video or read a book that dives into much deeper concepts. Not to mention Rayner guarantees a refund if you're not satisfied after 60 days, and you keep the book.

This book does a great job of explaining trading ideas with reason and detail. It is very well written. Plus, Rayner provides videos with equally good information.

Great book on how to trade for consistent profits (and small losses). The concepts are clear and not hard to grasp. I would recommend this book to anybody venturing in to the world of trading.

Overall, I don't think there are any real secrets to this book but provides some step by step instruction on how he would do a trade based on price action. It's worth the few dollars. I enjoy Rayner's YouTube videos and bought the book and Kindle version to see what it offered. For a few dollars I think it's a very good deal because there are so called experts out there that want to soak you for hundreds of dollars to teach you the same thing so this is a good place to start. I found a couple of errors that might confuse a new trader but overall the book provides some good examples. The Kindle version is better in some aspects than the book and not as good in others in my estimation as well. The book is poor quality and the graphs are very poor (I had to use the magnifying glass on my phone to see the numbers that he was referring too). Even worse though, the Kindle version doesn't show the prices that he is referring too! WTI figure 8.5 for example where target prices TP1 and TP2 which he says are 58.00 and 63.00 respectively but not shown on the graph. I know I'm being a stickler for detail! Can you actually make money applying the principles that he has provided? That's the real question! I think the most beneficial part of this book is that you have to plan the trade and trade the plan and he gives you some ideas on how to do that. That means sometimes losing and getting out of the trade but the idea is to take a smaller loss than win or at least win more to get the odds in your favor. Also, his explanation of multiple time frame analysis, while short, is key. Y I don't like the idea that it takes 100 trades to find out if your system is right or wrong though! The fundamentals he has taught should lead you to an okay trading strategy right away. The biggest problem that he doesn't cover though is how to find these gems to trade and that's where the real work is. Trading as a job or hobby means looking for the setups first and foremost and that takes time and effort. Good luck!

This is a very valuable book. It covers all topics you need to know to become a successful trader. The journey starts with natural laws of trading and it ends with risk and trade management. Some stations on that journey are to cover the market structure and look behind it to understand what is happening. Then there comes some information about support and resistance and finally there are some nice and handy strategies. I've been using them and I found out, that my problem with discipline has gone away automatically. If I could have read that book years ago!!! It would have saved me a lot of dollars and more important: A lot of nerves. That book is not all. In the book you'll find a key into a wide space of the trading universum. If you unlock by subscribing you'll get access to a lot of videos where Rayner describes all aspects of trading. It is not a fake.

I liked this book so much, it’s opened my mind about simple things that was in my face all the time, and my history of life (bad student) is similar of the Rayner’s history. Thanks Rayner!

Good for understanding the basics but more suitable for very beginner only, but if you are a beginner it's a must read!

Concise and to the point advice for good trade set ups and trading in general. All the stuff is available out there, but Rayner has put it together in a very nice, organized, and easy to understand manner. Of course, it is his very successful practical experience that has helped him achieve this.
