Garmin quality product
Works well for both of my dash cams. The power cycles off to prevent battery drainage. I am able to review the footage while sitting in the car now instead of having to remove the micro sd card and loading it into my computer. Great value and compatibility with my 2025 vehicle.

So easy!
I got a constant power cable originally for my Garmin 57 dash cam, and realized quickly I wasn't willing to install it myself as I'd have to mess with my car's fuse box. This install is super easy - just plug it into your OBDII port to the lower left of your steering wheel! There's options for lengths of time to keep the camera on for if you're concerned about battery drain over a long period of time. And there's even an extra USB port to power another accessory if needed. Garmin designs constant power mode and parking guard on their cameras to work well with your car and it really is seamless once you set it up. The only difficult part is finding places to hide the wire in your vehicle's trim.

Great Little Device
Glad I got this to install in one of our vehicles that did not have the newer auto rearview mirror. Able to hook this out in a matter of minutes and love the flexibility the device offers as well as not having to have it plugged into a cigarette lighter. Wiring was really quite simple in the Toyota Highlander and best of all no wires hanging out anywhere. Does cost a little more but for me it was worth it since gives you a clean look and you never have to worry about the power.

Good
Works with Garmin mini

Just buy it.
I purchased this for my Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2. It was so simple to use, it literally just plugs into the port and then you mount it where you want and it stays there. I didn't have to splice any wires, run the wire to a charging port, or get fancy to wire constant power in. It's a very elegant solution, and it will accept two cameras at once since it has two USB ports. The selector switch is also nice, and useful. The only downside was the price imho. I think it probably cost less than $2 to manufacture, so it could be sold for about half price. But it's what's available and it works well so there it is. Maybe we'll get another stimulus check in the future and I can afford another : )

A must have with your Garmin Dash Cam
The perfect power source for your Garmin dash cam. Super easy to install. Great to have 3 different time options to power the camera for certain periods of time after you park. Just a heads up this may not play well in all vehicles. When plugged into the OBD port on my 2025 BMW X5 I am unable to get the remote functions on my X5 to work via the BMW app. Be sure to check for that if you have similar remote functions on your vehicle.

Perfect for those with multiple devices
This works great for those with multiple devices in the car that takes up USB power space. Works great with my dash cam and GPS/Detector units or other things.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COST
2021 Accord 2.0 Touring. I used this OBD 2 adapter from Garmin so I would have the 2 USB options. Less than 6 months in, this device has not held up to expectations. My car has given me multiple check engine lights, has powered on my dash cam continuously (when I double check that the button would NOT do that), stop running on my Garmin dash cam, and would need to restart the vehicle to restart the system. The worst is yet to come. Wireless Apple CarPlay was rendered useless, as it constantly interfered with the head unit. I never experienced these symptoms until I installed this product. Had to sort to a solution with wires showing instead of neatly tucked away. Very disappointing for the price point.
