Let me start out by saying that these light bulbs are absolutely fantastic and totally exceeded my expectations. I purchased the 120w and I'm very glad I did. I originally had these in mind for the guitar repair shop I'm building. But now I'm thinking about buying them for all around my entire house. I would go as far as to say if it were possible for a light bulb to elevate a person's mood, this would be it. I love this light so much that I already have another 120w on the way. I compared these bulbs to other light sources around my home. Being near-sighted I have to remove my glasses to read clearly. I can read with my glasses on, but I must hold the writing at an arms length to see. Things look much clearer with this light. Conventional equivalent fluorescent lights flicker and strobe in a way that is not perceivable, but can take its toll on human eye sight in the form of eye fatigue. If you are an allergy sufferer or someone with a light complexion that burns easily in the sun, these lights are for you. Ultraviolet light is still the bodies preferred method of vitamin D production, a necessary nutrient to prevent osteoporosis. I take 1000iu twice a day of vitamin D and that is not enough. Yet I don't want to damage my liver. I'M adding this comment as of 04/07/2017, " I don't think that these will ever replace fluorescent lights for the simple fact that in some applications they are lacking in certain qualities, for example; I don't think that I could get as much out of these lights as I could my fluorescent lights in certain situations. For example, I don't think that I could possibly get as much out of LED lights at any price as I could my 10k and 20k fluorescent lights for the price. These LED lights are a marvel of modern engineering but I think that their market strategy really stinks. These lights should be more available in the American market. I must also add that these lights should be marketed with suitable light fixtures. These lights should be paired with their 3000k spirals to actually get the proper balance of light. These lights are more suitable for situations in which detail is crucial, such as in a kitchen, workshop, or video production studio; or to enhance the beauty of a particular environment. These lights are not suitable for prolonged everyday use, as they can lead to eye fatigue.

These are great, I have 5 of them in my three car garage...and it really lights it up real nice...I was originally going to install six foot fluorescent lights, but for the cost of those, and the time to hang them, I tried one of these...liked it so much I ordered another 4 just to get the full coverage of light that I wanted in my garage...friends comment about how well lit my garage is, and we all have a laugh about the "corn light" name for the product.Update: 4/4/2017I have had several of these fail, and just turn off...the LED's flicker faintly...I looked at the skygenius web site, but I don't have the patience to contact them...the phone numbers are for China... *shrugs* I hope that the rest of them last a long time. I did replace them because I found them on super duper discount one weekend, so I bought about 60 of them...I think that I paid a quarter per light or so...so I stocked up...and gave them to friends and family...

I purchased two of these SkyGenius Super Bright 35W 3500Lm 6500K Cool White Daylight LED Corn Light Bulbs (ASIN: B01DZYKYK8) in May 2017 and I have been using them since around then till now in 10/2018 in Northwest Ohio where I live near and not far from Lake Erie around about 1 hour driving time from the Canada border, one for my roof covered but unscreened open front porch and one for my uncovered and open backyard patio. Most of the months here where I live in Northwest Ohio it is cooler-colder type weather, it can get very cold with alot of snow-winds-rains etc. during cooler-winter months etc., and so far it has performed awesome and flawlessly without no problems, it appears super bright and powerful, durable and sealed-protected-designed very well!!! I can now see our dog everywhere in our backyard, very good and so much better, way way way better... unlike before with previous different inferior bulbs when at times-alot of times I couldn’t see our dog because it was too dark… and it makes our house look better-brighter-cooler-unique-newer when turned on!!! I will try to update in the future if things change etc..

Lasted 2000 hrs/ 8 months now slight led flicker when turned on and then Nothing. Supposed to have a 1 yr warranty so now trying to contact seller for replacement. It shined nice when it did work and the light was good but to replace a $30 bulb after 8 months is not a good investment. I ordered 2 bulbs but had way more hours put on this one, maybe 400hrs over 8 months on the other, so I hope the other bulb lasts for more hours. these are supposed to go for 35,000 hrs... but I now am doubting that. It was used in an outdoor yard light that has a protective covering on the top and sides but is open on the bottom. there was no visible damage. It just quit working. updated from 1 star to 4 stars due to seller very quickly sending me a replacement bulb. Cannot give 5 star because of quality issues with first bulb but the seller sent me a replacement from just an email I sent requesting one. Good seller, stands behind their warrenty UPDATE: 3-11-18 now my replacement bulb done. This is not a good purchase. reducing from 4 to 1 star due to very poor life expectancy. I will not order again from this company.
