I'm a nurse and I use it on wound care: great product ; this is the only non woven gauze sponge I use cause it works and I see results, paired up with a 4 by 4 your golden.

I used these gauze sponges to help a cut on my inner cheek heal. I would place one between my teeth and cheek—sometimes just letting it sit there, other times gently clenching—to keep the area protected and give the skin time to recover. It worked really well for that purpose. The gauze doesn’t dissolve or break down, so I could wear it for up to an hour if I was focused on something else. Absorbency wasn’t important to me—I appreciated that it held its shape and stayed in place. The pack is more generous than it looks at first. The gauze is tightly compressed, so it expands when opened—definitely a good value. Great to have on hand for first aid, dental care, or creative uses like mine.

I bought these for my sister who cares for a constant wound that drains off and on. I hoped this would save money by buying in bulk compared to the 25pk options we usually get locally. And in some ways it has but not how we expected. These DO work well. They are soft and great for using to clean wounds with saline or would even be great for make-up removal as well. No strings or debris. The problem is QUALITY. The packaging says it's 4ply BUT it's simply a VERY thin 4ply. It feels thin and more like 2ply. When you stack two together it feels more like the 4ply you can by at Walmart. So, this was very disappointing when we first bought them. BUT they do work well for a variety of things such as I mentioned above. For dry wounds or lightly draining wounds one gauze does work well. But for more drainage and absorbency then you have to stack them. These have come in handy for those lighter wounds but also to use as padding between the better quality gauze we use for heavier draining wounds. They do work just not the way the better quality kind does. This is cheaper and therefore you get what you pay for. We've purchased them again because we have found uses for them but have to continue buying the better quality 4ply gauze by Bandaid Brand or Walmart brand. So it didn't save us money but the quantity does last a while and is worth the money so that we don't have to use the good gauze for the less serious wounds.

Purchased these as an alternative to my RF Essentials Gauze Pads (skincare line), which I use to apply my Step 2 Toner. They are half the price for twice the product, and work just like the ones I have gotten from the skincare line. I have tried others but until now, couldn’t find 2x2 gauze that wasn’t treated with nonstick coating - these have no coating on them which is what I wanted for Step 2 of my skincare. Will definitely purchase again.
