Great Phone Case and Holster If 2 Modifications Are Made
This is a very protective case and I now like it a lot. However, before I modified it, I would have rated it one star. 2 main problems. 1) The cheap plastic screen protector bulges out when I installed my phone with my tempered glass screen protector. Solution: I ripped out the plastic screen protector (easy to do since it's glued lightly on). I would recommend putting the phone into the case first and then putting on the tempered glass screen protector because the case fits very snugly with little space between it and the tempered glass. The case will crack the edge of the tempered glass if it is not installed exactly centered.2) Problem number two is that the underside of the upper center clip on the holster to hold the phone case has tiny, less than 1mm ridges on it. This makes putting the case on and taking it off a two handed process because the tiny ridges at the bottom of the clip catches onto the phone case as you slide the case into the center clip latch. I'm not talking about the big sharp end edge that is the latch that secures the phone into the holster but tiny ridges on the underside flat horizontal part of the clip that comes in contact with the phone case first as it slides past to reach the latch. I put my holster on horizontally. So first, I slide my phone case into the 2 edge holders on the bottom of the holster. Then I have to pull up the upper center clip to allow the phone case to slide in underneath it. With the tiny ridges on the underside of this center clip, the phone case edges catches on the center clip as it slides in to be latched; you can't just press the phone into this latch but you really have to pull up the center clip or else the tiny ridges prevent the phone from reaching the latch. This center clip is a solid piece of plastic and is not spring loaded so it is very stiff. One hand has to pull it up while the other hand holds the phone down. The solution to this is I got sandpaper and sandpapered the tiny ridges off, making the flat underside of the clip smooth. The end edge latch is still there. You can even get a sharp knife and scrape off the tiny ridges because they are so small. By having the tiny ridges removed, I can just press the phone into the center latch with one hand and the phone slides into the center clip smoothly and latches on. I rate this 4 stars now after I did the modifications. It lost a star because I had to make the 2 modifications.

Just received this case. I normally do two reviews, one when I get a product, then an update a couple weeks later. So I really have to say that this is a good looking case. It holds my iPhone 7 Plus nice and snug. I got the gun metal color for the back piece. It looks sleek and clean. If it holds up to scratches and dings, I will be very impressed. The colored pieces are not metal, however, they are plastic but still look very nice. All the side buttons line up perfectly with the phone and areas covered by a plastic flap ( like the charge port) open easily and seem to close again tight. Volume and power buttons are easy to press an well designed. Volume button covers have little + - on it, which tells me the manufacturer pays attention to little details. The thumbprint home button is covered by a very thin plastic or fine screen material. Not quite sure what it's made of but it works fine. Finally, the screen is covered by a plastic protective cover. It is more like a sturdy glass rather than a plastic sheet. It doesn't sag in the middle and create gaps around the sides of the screen. It responds perfectly to the keyboard. I have written this entire review and never once had to press a button on the keyboard twice because of the lack of responsiveness. Finally, the phone snaps into the holster great. The clip swivels from portrait to landscape and licks into position. The phone can be holstered with the screen facing out or in. Phone easily clips back in hosted with one hand. May require two hands or practice to remove the phone with one hand. Not really a problem though. Overall, I give this phone 5 stars for design and overall contemporary look. I have to give this phone 5 stars for use of sturdy well made materials (as long as the back colored piece doesn't scratch and stays nice). I will write a follow up with pics if it doesn't withstand normal wear and tear.

Good case with a few cons
good case with a few cons , i may edit this either up or down , depend on how long it lasts.pros- the rubber backing has a real nice fit around the screen protector . The flap cover over the charging port and silent switch seem to be a tight fit . ( ill have to see if they last or fall off after a lot of use .)The clip on the holster that functions as a kickstand is a real nice touch . though i would have like to see at least a mention of the feature on the foldout manuel . took me a bit to figure it out.The case SEEMS like it will keep dust and moisture out of the inner workings of the phone . With the fit and construction of this case i won't feel concerned when using the phone at work or in the rain.cons-Screen protector is not glass! i've had these plastic screen protectors scratch and discolor after awhile . so we will see.Not a big fan of the thin plastic film over the home button. New out of the box it doesn't interfere with the fingerprint feature of the home button but i can foresee this as a problem . I realise i can just cut it out if it is.I will be editing this review either up or down after 6 months of use . It has a lot of potential, and with the sale price I paid for it i might be a real good competitor for the more expensive cases at half the price
