A great product for the price! I was very pleased with the backlit keyboard. I used it to modify my HP dm4 which came w/o a backlit keyboard. My keyboard was worn out & some keys had begun to not work which turned out to be the motherboard also failing, so I did not get to use it long.It is not a very high quality product, but for an older laptop, a very good value. I will definitely buy another Eathtek keyboard again if I need to replace another one on one of my kids's computers.

Works great in our dm4-2xxx laptop. Like others mentioned, there is no header on the motherboard for the backlight. This was still cheaper than other replacements, and the quality is just as good as the original keyboard if not better.

Perfect fit and works well on DM4-2015DX. Although it supports backlit LED, the laptop does not since it does not have a port to install the LED ribbon. Very easy to install and quality is good.

This fits nicely to my DM4-2015DX as replacement but still the back-light will NOT WORK since the laptop mother board will not have a port for the power so if your sending more bucks on this for the lights make sure your board supports the power output needed.

Backlit connection does not work on my computer because my laptop does not have the back lit settings. The keyboard itself works well.
