KoseSUN CUT Ultra UV Perfect Gel Waterproof (SPF50 + PA ++++) 100g

Purchased this specifically to take on vacation to Jamaica as we always spend a good deal of time in the water and many domestic brands fail the waterproof test. This one does not fail. I see reviews here for face use and while it will work on the face this works to the fullest extent on the body while submerged. Water beads up and rolls off. On darker skins after several hours you can see a white cast left where it is still working. We even had some challenges getting it completely off with soap. None of the area we applied this to burned after a full day of use. Comparable to 1985ish Bullfrog Amphibious formula. Top notch sunscreen for activity.

I LOVE this sunscreen. It has an almost alcohol-like, plastic-y scent that's hard to describe, but it's very subtle (I have an extremely sensitive nose--some people may not even notice a scent at all.) I use it as a body sunscreen for when I'm just indoors or going outside briefly (UVA rays can penetrate windows!) It has zero white cast, goes on easily and smoothly, doesn't feel greasy AT ALL, dries quickly, and doesn't transfer. It's like my dream sunscreen. There are other equally great sunscreens out there--like Nivea Sun Protect Water GEL SPF 50 (NOT water/sweat resistant) and Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel SPF 50 (water/sweat resistant) that come in bigger bottles so I'll be switching to those. I wish Kose Sun Cut came in a bigger bottle. I tried it on my face too, and it wore great under Missha's M Perfect Cover BB cream. :) Some people have said it pills under makeup, but I've never had that problem.

This sunscreen has a completely matte finish which is great because I have oily skin. The finish is just what I was looking for, dry, you can't tell I'm wearing sunscreen when I wear it, it looks just like my bare skin. However, today I wore it while sunbathing for an hour and when I came inside I noticed the beginning of a sunburn forming on my face. So I think the actual SPF is lower than what's printed on the bottle. That's why I gave it four stars.

Used it for a while it did it Job

Terribly inflated price of $31, it used to be $13.99. This was my favorite sunscreen, I can’t really get it for this new price since it’s not that affordable anymore, what a shame

I am allergic to sunscreen. This is my option to go, no problems with this brand.

Better than most American sunscreens but still makes me oily. Just okay and it's cheap. I prefer it on my body.

Will definitely be buying again. Listed at a great price and a lot of product. I bought mine for about $10 for 100g. Compared to other asian sunscreens on here, this is one of the best bangs for your bucks. Bearly feels like anything is there when you put it on. I love that it's waterproof too. It's my new favorite sunscreen.
