CTP Seasonal Dress for The Weather Bulletin Board Set, 57 Pieces (Creative Teaching Press 1640), 3"-17.5", Multi Color

I was looking for a boy themed weather dress-up. After seeing many, many, many products of girls or silly animals, I finally came across DRESS FOR THE WEATHER BB SET. Giddy with the fact that it was of a boy, I clicked the buy button without checking out the details of this product.When this product arrived (very quickly!), I was really amazed at what I had received. This product was much larger than I expected (no I didn't check the details when I ordered it). It is very charming, there many adorable outfits for each season, a window for the changing seasons, a weather wheel as well as temperature concepts. The product is thought out well and encompassed the whole theme of weather/seasons. It would be a shame to poke holes in it with thumb tack. The paperboard has a nice coating on the top, (but had a chalky back) so I laminated the back of the dress-up clothing since I am going to use with it Fun tack (it has a tendency to leave a greasy mark on porous surfaces).Very cute, well made.

My son loves the weather chart at school and asked for one of these for Christmas. I did as much research as I could and then pulled the trigger.As I stated in the headline; if you don't have access to a laminator don't purchase. My son is thrilled with the weather wheel and what to dress the kid in on a daily basis. However, without the plastic protecting this thin paper from daily use, would be done for in no time. I had leftover velcro from a project so I cut out pieces and adhered them to the weather wheel, the clothing and to the little boy.We talk daily about the weather and he really enjoys every aspect of it. However, a kid can get frustrated if an item is deteriorating so quickly (as can the parent for spending the money) These are my tips for the weather chart and accessories.

The boy comes with A LOT of wardrobe items for different season. It’s made of a decent material but for best use if you can laminate it, and it’ll last a long time! Great for home and classroom.

This is a great set, for a really great price. Easily the most comprehensive set I've come across since it includes the weather boy, weather chart, and season windows. Even though I love this set, there are a few minor things that would improve it. I would prefer the daily weather chart as a chart rather than a spinner. And the weather boy had two small issues. The sunglasses are too easy to rip, bend, or otherwise damage - very narrow across the nose and at the sides. I love that the boy has on an undershirt and underwear when he's not "dressed," but the undershirt shows when he is wearing the tank tops. A sleeveless undershirt would have been better.Honestly, though, this is one of my favorite sets, and I strongly recommend it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, and school hasn't even started yet!

This weather man set was purchased for a Learning Center classroom. It was great for children ages 3 and older, but not for younger children, in which we tried to use it for. We laminated each piece to keep in better condition longer. Too many small pieces for younger children and for teachers to keep track of. Used one of the posters for dressing for weather by parent board near entrance of our building as a friendly reminder to parents on what to be sure to bring for your child during the cold months of the year! Would fit on a corner of a larger square bulletin board, a little bigger then 11 x 13 paper size.

This is adorable and has so many pieces. Great teaching tool and would recommend. But cutout is bigger than laminator sheets but that’s only downside. Great colors

Clear visuals and good quality. The kids love it and it's a great preschool teaching tool.

This is a bright and colorful classroom tool. The only downfall is that it is not on magnetic sheeting like the older version was.
