Keeps the heat off
Bought for my husband for his chevy truck and it keeps the spark plug wires from burning up on the headers. Great product!

This product does the job.
On the recommendation of a friend I purchased the spark plug boot heat shields. I’ve got some time and miles on them now. They’re on my Ford 460 V8 gasoline engine with an extremely heavy camper on it. The truck and camper weighs over 11,000 pounds loaded. It has headers on it. I’ve on the truck and camper since they were new 25 years ago. The spark plug boot heat shields are working great! I will purchase this product for my other vehicles.

Double layers still burn through. Tie plug wires away from the header in addition to using these.
Mine still burned through after touching my headers. I used two boots per wire then tied the wires up as far away from the header as possible and so far so good
