Super ,pretty parasol that doubles as an umbrella. Used it in the heatwave.

I bought this to shelter me from the sun when I take my son to pools where they don't have any shade. I got the worst burn of my life this summer. I was in pain that went beyond surface for a few days, and I didn't want to experience that again, so I ordered this. I would bring it with me whenever I went to the pool just in case there's no shade. It is easy to pop open. Easy to close & wrap back up. It has a cover to hold it, but I never use it. It has a very pretty design, and it does block out the sun. That all said, it stinks to high heaven. Whatever they spray it with, it's hard to get that smell out. I used vinegar and then mild cleaner to no avail. That is my one complaint.

Sturdy, easy to unfold and fold back again with the button. I definitely feel cooler underneath when the sun is shining and it’s hot outside. You can’t see the sun at all through the umbrella. I use it when I’m taking walks through the neighborhood. It’s like carrying your own shade with you! My only one very tiny complaint is that it’s a little difficult to roll up and clasp with the snap because the umbrella material is kind of thick. I would recommend that the manufacturer make the strap about an inch longer.
