Order 2 for 24ft pontoon
Had previously ordered 1 set. They worked, just not as well as needed. Water pooled in a few spots, ordered this second set and now its perfect. Added 4” PVC pipe caps to tops to help distribute the poke of the pole and its flawless now

Pontoon boat cover
Love the design of this kit as it can work with different size boats and boat shapes. I installed it 3 months ago and it has held up to rain and 40mph. The thing I like the best is it does not let rain puddle up on top. I have had other system collapse and had like 15 gallons of water that made my other covers tear at the seams.

Wish it was a little thicker but it fits like a glove
It went on fairly easy just wish it was a little thicker. I ordered this from them before and thought it was of heavier material . Oh wll will wait and see how it holds up in the Florida sun

Great product!
I only wish we had found it years earlier as it has simplified the covering of our 24' pontoon. My wife and I are older and had a hard time crawling under the cover placing the old posts. This is much simpler! Wound highly recommend. It came well boxed and complete.

Does not provide enough support
This does not provide any support for the cover going the east/west direction. It may work with a custom cover but for anything short of a custom cover the cover will hold water and will collapse the adjustable poles. Ended up spending another $200 to create pvc support. Should have done that to begin with.

One-Size-Fits-All....means it doesn't fit anything all that well
First and foremost, this is incredibly overpriced for what it is. At $15 to $20, it might not be a bad deal, but for the full price with shipping...well, that is just shy of ridiculous. Now, on to the nuts and bolts...MATERIALSSpeaking of nuts & bolts, as other reviewers have noted, the materials are cheap. All the hardware is flimsy, which makes the desired outcome hard to achieve, without significant modifications. From a durability standpoint, do not expect much. Just know that once you make the improvements and alterations required to make this system function, you will have to ensure you keep water dumped off as often as possible, as these poles will not support any significant weight.OPERATIONIn theory, this is not a bad design idea, other than it needs additional supports designed in to distribute the load. My previous cover support system was a homemade PVC pipe system that actually worked incredibly well. Unfortunately, while the boat was at the mechanic shop over the winter, he let the cover sag, then never bothered to dump any of the water off the cover, so the weight simply buckled the entire assembly. I wouldn't have purchased this item, but my wife bought it thinking it would save me from having to reconstruct another home made version. Honestly, by the time I finished beefing this thing up, I would have less time invested in another home made version from scratch. I do like the idea of the straps, but you have to modify them to keep them from slipping. Keep in mind, too, that this is one of those one-size-fits-all items, which means it doesn't fit anything all that well. For those pontoons that have a front deck area, keep in mind this is designed to hook to the railing, so you may need another cover support on the front deck. It really needs two more poles, and additional straps. For most pontoons, the X design will not have enough side to side support to hold up the cover (unless your pontoon is fairly short).VALUEThe cover supports are not totally without value, and would be worth it if the price matched the cheap Chinese materials. For $15-$20, it would probably be worth it to use this sort of as a base kit to modify and build a decent cover support system. However, $60 - $70 is outrageous for this Chinese junk. Especially considering you will likely incur more costs buying supplemental materials to modify it so it will work. Above all, do not buy this thinking that you likely have a straight out of the box solution that is simple and ready to use.

Great for the price
Poles could be a bit longer, but that's an easy fix

Saves a lot of time covering pontoon boat
We really like it and a lot easier to cover pontoon boat than cover with snaps

Difficult to use
As the headline suggests this is difficult to use, although when set up it functions well.
