Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner with Heater | Industrial Stainless Steel Body, Tub, Basket | (5.0 Liter)

I used the unit a few times to lubricate metal parts with a light oil bath designed for that purpose. Left the unit in the garage with the liquid in the tub and discovered later all the oil, about 1 gal., leaked out through the case onto the garage floor. Found when I removed the bottom plate the hose connecting the tub drain to the drain petcock came loose (it was secured with zip ties). All the internal components are wet and some are, undoubtedly, inoperative.

Great for cleaning firearms. (most, but not exactly all at least)

The item was shipped promptly after purchase. Arrived in good time frame from Canada. When I received the item and took it out of the box one of the plastic feet on the bottom was broken off and the corner was dented. I have used the cleaner twice to clean .308 rifle brass. Cleaner works very well, however, there are some design issues. First, there is no handle to lift the basket out of the solution, so if you have heated it up, you will have to wait for the solution to cool, or use a make shift lifter like I did to remove the basket. Second, the weave in the basket is very large, so smaller items, such as rifle and pistol brass falls through the openings. It does take a while to heat tap water, so use warm water. It does clean very well, not noisy or loud and the drain valve comes in very handy. I will need to either find a different basket or string stainless steel wire through to backet openings and also make a permanent lifting handle.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It took over 1/2 hour to heat 3 qts from 17C to 60C. Needs a better heater.

Delivery was on time and product was packed nicely. This machine works nicely. I did learn that you have to adjust the heat BEFORE you turn the heat on. Otherwise it will only reach the last heat setting. On the subject of heat.. if you want hot water, turn on the heat about 30 min before use or if in a rush, just add hot tap water for a boost. The drain option is great! The power cord disconnects from the unit so you do not have to unplug from the wall and drag a cord on the ground if moving the unit. This unit is also deeper that most others without the huge price increase. Overall I am very satisfied!

This cleaner died before I can finish my project. I’d give this cleaner a zero star if I could. Total junk!

Used it so far to clean jewelry and carburetors. has 2 transducers and is altogether an excellent machine with good capacity.
