BLACK+DECKER BXSH37003GB Lightweight Portable Ceramic Fan Heater with 2 Heat Setting and Cool Blow Function 2000 W, Black and Silver

I paid 31£ with the black friday deals for this heater, totally looks like the no branded chinese one of my flatmate and that’s really disappointing.

i've had this heater for two days now. the heater heats up my cold room quite well. the safety features put my mind to rest after reading some reviews of other heaters which can tend to melt their own plastic and smoke. the heaters a good size and i've had no issues with it so far, about 4 on hrs use. that being said i only use it on the 1st warm setting (1000 watt) and never turn the dial up to full, only about 80%the product is sold by B&D but only by import. the actual device is produced by a different company probably in china, then b&d put their label on it and sell it B&D do have it on their site through some digging, i guess that means they approve it. i would recommend this heater. better to pay more for a safer product than the cheaper options at the top of amazon search. just read their reviews.

I bought this in April and one of the control dials has snapped off in November even though it was barely used until the weather turned cold over the past 2 months. The controls always felt a bit flimsy and I thought it was going to be a matter of time before one of them broke.It's a shame as it's a decent heater for the size, if maybe a bit noisy. Obviously it's a one star rating if it can't last a few months of use though.

I bought this because I liked that it would be switched on/off with a smart socket and maintain it's temperature settings. It's overall pretty good at heating up a fairly large size room so can't fault that but after less than 10 months the heating element blew. The fan still works but it won't heat up. Not really acceptable since I've only used it during a few cold months this year. Not happy!
