ACTIVISION Crash Bandicoot 4 Its About Time (Xbox One)

Bought this for my Wife who is a fan. Graphics are great on an Xbox series X. It’s a fun but difficult game. She loves it.

I bought this for some nostalgia being a crash player back in the originals day.It’s visually great and is super smooth, the enemies are great fun too and the addition of other playable character styles are good fun.The bad is it’s annoyingly hard, the first island is super smooth fun then you get to the second and just die over and over, I died less playing doom. The game has a mechanic in which you press a button to “swap platforms” so a platform will vanish and another appear this means you have to jump and switch in mod air to land on something. The problem is when you are being shot at, dodging things and chased it’s hard to remember to switch so die, the first time this mechanic was introduced I died 14 times before I got it in my muscle memory.I was hoping my kids would play this too but they took one look and said “that looks way too hard”. You will get through but you will die a lot on any level that has this annoyingly unneeded mechanic. The game didn’t need it, it’s gorgeous and fun on all the levels without it.

It's not like my daughter's one she got a special on hers she got both runs not only that it's different between the two is quite a lot
