I wrote the book and I say it is unbelievably good.

My mom read some of it and got mad at me for reading it.

This book is good, damn good. Mike Ma has an ability to pull from the collective unconscious and put it into words that would’ve come from most readers mouths, if we’d known where to look. A lot of things in this book I enjoy because they were often passing thoughts of my own. In this text they are expanded upon with a level of chaotic elegance in the writing, much like a cherry on top. If this book doesnt make you want to band together with your brothers and stir up some trouble in the mind of desk jockeys, beta orbiters of art school whores, and timid fat game wardens, it might not be for you.

just clicked order button. have not read yet. best book I ever purchased, would buy again to leave second copy in the mailboxes that government employees have on the outside of their office doors.unironic review coming as soon as I read the thing, however I have high expectations for it.EDIT: finished the bookit was a real page turner and I could not put it down, although this may have had something to do with the residual super glue on my hands left over from sealing public restroom doors shut. reads like a more streamlined and potent Harassment Architecture both in prose and philosophy.the first chapter really draws you in, and I'm not even joking when I say that Mike is a genius, the book contains a mixed bag of humor and violent dreams interspersed with eye opening observations on a variety of topics, all packaged in a way that is accessible to both the reader and the non reader. it does stand alone on it's own, but after reading the first book this one definitely brings a sense of satisfaction that was lacking from Mike's debut work. at the same time it hints and new and more optimistic things to come, and it has me eagerly awaiting a third book.

The only book fit to follow Harassment Architecture. Mike Ma inexplicably tops his first book with the second, Gothic Violence. If you have read Harassment Architecture, you will be familiar with the cadence and tone of Gothic Violence. The author brings new ideas, stories, and a logical continuation of his first work. Five stars, please set aside a day to read this in pleasant sunlight to read this book beginning to end.

Mike Ma absolutely has outdone himself with Gothic Violence. Spanning from critique of music, politics, war and fashion to the very nature of society itself, Mike underpins this all with his stellar writing and fiction narrative to deliver a title well worth your money. There’s even a helpful nutrition/wellbeing guide at the back to boot.Very impressed! Looking forward to more.

Simply brilliant. In the sprit of Ted Kaczynski's manifesto, somewhat resembling “The Turner Diaries” this book is full with common sense, which in modern world of decay and decadence can be considered a true wisdom.
