The cable is perfectly measured and was very easy to put in with the help of a YouTube video.

Needed new recliner cable and decided on this product. Our decision came down to replacement similarity and value. Product was spot on except the top support that screws into the sofa. No biggie as we drilled new holes. Once installed, it worked as advertise.Getting two for an affordable price was a bonus. Now we have a spare just in case one of the two on our sofa needs to be replaced.

If you've got plastic handles, even if they are not yet broken, you won't regret buying these. They operate so much more smoothly than my original plastic.Be careful when you open the package and remove the new handles. There is also a small wire retaining clip inside the bag. I accidentally threw mine away and had to fish them back out after I started the swap. 😉Very easy to install. Anybody can do it. If the cable drops inside after you disconnect it, it's easy enough to reach in the hole and grab it.

Easy to install. Fit like a glove. Since it is a new install, I cannot comment on its sturdiness. I hope it lasts longer than the original one that came with the recline able chairs. So far, so good.
