How easy is this to accidentally push? Say it was in my pocket and I wanted to keep the number. Also does it make a noise when you press it?

Personally I don't think it would move on if it was in your pocket I use mine for row counting and store mine in my knitting bag with knitting needles etc and I've never had mine change the number. There is a definate click noise when it is clicked though, definately not silent. If that is required then it may not be suitable for you.

I’d like to wear this when swimming to count my laps. How secure is it in your finger? Is it likely to come off? Thanks

This is a rather chunky piece of apparatus , made of metal (not plastic). I do not think this is appropriate to use in the water and I have only used mine out of the water to count swimmers’ laps. It is not secure on the finger but requires the palm of the hand to keep in situ. I do think this will rust or suffer from failure if in the water.

Is this really waterproof as it claims to be?

Its difficult to answer that really. Mines been in the rain several times when fishing and still works fine. It is a mechanical counter so not sure how a little water would affect it anyway
