Nice design! Sturdy bow!
Arrow are decent, easy to takedown. The bow sight was confusing, because the instructions didn’t match the product. The bow has been handling well and has a lot of power. Cool design. Would recommend this product.

a nice recurve bow that works great
The media could not be loaded. I never participated in boy scouts or other activities that involved archery as a youth though now i have an interest. Crossbows have always seemed a bit like cheating leaving my interest to fall fully on a traditional compound or recurve bow that gives the user more control over the whole process. I like the idea of having to pay attention to operating the bow string and not hurting yourself with the recoil.I am happy to say this recurve bow from the Staccu brand has everything I needed to dive into my interest in this area. Due to my inexperience with archery I asked the help of an outdoorsman who says the word -dude- a lot as can be heard in the video I have included. What also can be seen is this mans knowledge of bows. I like how he already knew not only how to assemble it but the terminology associated with this type of bow. The assembly in not very easy for a person without experience. I would strongly recommedn having an experienced person with any sport that has something traditionally used for hunting such as archery or clay target hunting etc. I believe in gun and bow safety to the extent of not showcasing the arrows in this video because I was in a heavily residential area and even mocking loading and arrow may seem odd, so I left out the included arrows which come in a dozen bundle with a neat carrying case that is hard plastic and cylindrical. This case breaks down at the top so you can adjust the height. This cap also locks into place so you can utilize the attached shoulder strap, without having to worry about the top popping off. I did watch the man in the video struggle a bit with the bow string because he was not familiar with this exact style but he figured it out. He recommends releasing the tension by removing the bows string when not in use to save the longevity of it.This comes with a carrying case for the bow and the Allen wrenches needed to attach the main curve ends are included as well.Once this was assembled I headed with the man in the video to the archery range which conveniently is like five minutes from where I live and is free. I felt comfortable with the red dot that is the target area and lining it up . I did not hit the target the first few time though within about a half dozen tries I was within the bullseye proximity-(not the center but the out -- outer region of the target). I am excited to practice and fine tune my developing skills. I like the way the coating around the hand grip area works to give you a firm and solid hold on the weapon. This comes not only with a wrist guard which I essential for beginners but also a finger guard or the fingers used to release the bow and arrow. In conclusion I am super happy with this recurve bow set and recommedn it to sporting people like myself who like to shoot targets or for hunters who really are out for the intended purpose.Remember to be safe and if underage to have an adult there with you. I am almost forty and made sure there was an adult there with me due to the serious nature of a sport that involves a weapon.)

Nice kit. Check for better instructions on installing the sight.
This is a nice looking bow. The main bow assembly is fairly well done and the instructions cover things well. The sight is completely wrong in the instructions and the product photos. Don't install it with just one screw with the bracket out in the air. The sight bracket goes on with two screws. If you look at the parts you'll figure it out but there are photos online from other bows. The powder coat paint finish coats the inside of all the threaded holes. This will make installing the sight and accessories really difficult and possibly catastrophic if you force things. I have a tap but decided to try using the parts available in this kit to make it work. Before mounting the parts or the sight I used a single bolt and threaded it into each hole. Threading is difficult when the holes are powder coated so I made a half turn in followed by a quarter turn out. If it was too difficult I just backed off a turn and then started again. This approach cleans all the threaded areas so you can mount the bows and the sight without cross threading or breaking something. If you have a tap it's much easier to clean the threads. You'll want more arrows. Get 31" or thereabouts to match the draw length. You'll likely want a quiver.

Missing pieces
The sight was missing screws to attach it to the bow so I have to practice without the sights until I can figure out how to attach it.

Recurve Takedown Rt.Hand Bow for Archery 40 lb. Pull w/6 Carbon Shaft Arrows,Quiver,Guard,Zip Case
Archery can be a fine sport. I haven't used a bow for years and none this fine. This is an ideal recurve bow for a beginner, youth or anyone as it uses a 40 lb. pull which is plenty but not what an experienced archer would use. This is complete and comes with a full set of accessories including an arm guard, an expandable rigid plastic tube arrow storage quiver, a set of 6 practice steel point arrows with carbon fiber shafts that have detachable screw tips and vinyl flight "feathers",a bow string and stringing aid, bow sight and plastic arrow rest.Assembling this bow was not too bad once I figured it out. The instructions are mediocre compared to the quality of the bow. The bow limbs are made of laminated maple, fiberglass and bamboo and are strong as well as attractive. The central handle is of aluminum with a plastic hand grip over the aluminum. Steel hex head bolts hold the bow limbs on and a hex Allen wrench is provided for both those and the sight accessory. P. 1 shows the bow with some of the primary accessories. P. 2 the quiver tube -I liked the extendable locking length with room for different length arrows. P.3 shows the quiver and zippered nylon case. P.4 is a detail of the sight mechanism, P.5 the adhesive plastic arrow rest.Note the tiny raised ridges on the right of P.4 which is the side the sliding clear sight that has a small hook goes on. Somebody with more archery experience than me (no experience) would assemble this quickly. I took a while to get it right. The arrow flights can be straightened by soaking in hot water to reshape them to a less crushed from packing usefulness. The arrow rest is very basic. A screw hole exists to add a better dedicated arrow rest if I wish.I Recommend this STACCU Takedown Recurve Bow and Arrow for Adults Kit (30,40,50 lb), Beginner Shooting Practice, Competition Shooting Set, Right Handed Bow. Great value for a beginner in archery which I am. Easier to disassemble (takedown) than initially put together of course! I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.
