Fisher-Price Imaginext Blackbeard's Lair

Very fun and well made! From Santa to my just turned 4-year-old son and he was extremely excited about it! It wasn’t on his list but it just looked fun to me. Glad I got it bc he’s been playing with it non stop. The great quality you would expect from Imaginext. ... only wish they sold a few more individual or pairs of pirates without having to buy more large sets (like the pirate ship, although that looks awesome...)

I bought this along with several other Imaginext "pirate themed" sets for Christmas for my 3 yr old nephew. This is a great little playset on it's own... it comes with an alligator, a little boat, a shark cage, a treasure, and Black beard the pirate. The skull eyepatch lifts up and shoots harpoons out of the eye, and there is a secret jail in the back. Highly recommend.

Great toy for my 4 year old. He loves imaginext & pirates so this set is perfect for him. Imaginext makes high quality products that can withstand the rough & tough play little boys expose them to. We have allot of imaginext toys in our house. 5 stars all day long.

My 6 year old son loves all things imaginext! I bought this for him for Christmas and when we were at the store he was asking for it not even knowing I already bought it. It's very sturdy and has many different features/activities for fun play.

My two year old son enjoys this and it is a good addition to his pirate ship. He has the Jake and the Neverland pirate ship that I found at a yardsale for cheap and I wanted to jazz it up with something else to make it more exciting and this was perfect. It takes his pirate play from ten minutes to more like 30 because he will start with the ship, get a little bored after ten minutes, then move over to the Blackbeards Lair for ten minutes and then back to the ship for ten minutes. My son seems to enjoy the cage and likes to put his Jake from the Neverland set into it as well as various Lego men. Blackbeard also fits into it. He also likes the enclosed dungeon with the little door and has fun hiding the cannon balls and other tools in there. While it is nice to have a toy that doesn't require batteries, I do think that if the skeleton made creepy laughing noises when you open its jaw, it would be awesome!!! But it doesn't so we just make our own noises and use our imagination which is probably better anyway. I took one star off because its a little tricky to get to the button to fire the cannon and the quality of the cannon and cannon balls are not as nice as the Jake and the Neverland set. Also, this is constantly tipping over when my son pulls on the anchor or attaches the cage to the toy. Overall, this is a great toy and a must have addition to any pirate toy set. For $20, it has a lot of bells and whistles and looks really awesome and cool and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

This was a lot larger than I expected. It is a nice sized toy, with so many little compartments to play with the characters in. We bought it for a gift, and the other kids were so excited about it. It is a great gift, for young school aged kids.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old son. He has other pirate Imaginext toys so he was delighted to get this. We love this range of toys. Great quality and lots of fun features for them to discover!

I got this toy for my 5 year old after he saw it on YouTube and kept asking for it. The price was great and I'm happy to report that it is one of his all time favorite toys. Quite a few Imaginext and Lego pirates have walked the plank in his bath tub play...and so many have bitten the dust when he plays with it in our living room. He got my money's worth out of it the day he unwrapped it...I'm very very happy with this purchase.
